![]() Author has written 2 stories for Pokémon, and Meet the Robinsons. I am a university student nearing the end of my academia career. I get bored a lot, and I use writing as a way to learn about the world and expand the mind. As a writer, I will keep the characters as true to the cannon as possible but plan to expand on their personalities, past, and future in natural ways. I will strive for all original characters to feel organic to the story and be three dimensional characters with many layers to their actions, motives, and roles. Most importantly, I strive to write things that have not been overdone to death. You will not find the typical scenarios, characters, and stories from me. When it comes to plot, I am truly a maverick. I plan all my stories out and even the smallest, inconspicuous things will foreshadow future events. Be on the outlook, readers! My stories are about hope, growth, and discovery. If you enjoy stories where the main characters are jerks or paint the world in a more negative light - like a cynical sitcom- then I am not your author. At the same time writing is a hobby of mine, not a profession, so I always look forward to any criticisms that one might have. I will not promise to agree with all criticism, but I will keep an open mind. Sometimes my writing style is just not in someone's taste. That's okay with me! But refrain from saying that my story is "boring" and "bad" just because you have different preferences. It doesn't mean you are right, and I am not going to change my writing style just because someone doesn't like it, especially if it changes the mood of the story. Unlike doing science, reading is a more subjective experience. Current Fanfictions Pokemon: The Discovery Challenge Inspiration: I always thought the idea would be cool to write and fun to read. It follows a gender neutral character and is like a pokemon trainer journey but with a twist; the journey is a competition for pokemon scientists instead of pokemon trainers. Meet the Robinsons: Unwanted Summary: Being a bungling inventor wasn't the only reason Lewis failed over a hundred adoption interviews Inspiration: Gives some background for Rewritten and Adjustment. Upcoming Fanfictions Meet the Robinsons: Rewritten Inspiration: There are a lot of fanfics out there where Lewis gets "pregnant" despite being male. While those fics are not my taste per say, something about Lewis actually being female fits as he has a lot of feminine qualities; the idea he is actually "female" seems plausible. At the same time, I felt Meet the Robinsons missed a lot of its potential. Even though I am a fan, the movie has major flaws. So I decided to keep the script, add onto it, make a transgender Lewis (female to male), and make it a movie it should have been all along. Takes place immediately after Unwanted. Meet the Robinsons: Adjustment Summary: Lewis was recently adopted by his two, wacky parents into the family he always wanted. Yet he has trouble coping with his new life and with the many forces that conspire to tear this new, young family apart. Takes place immediately following the events of Rewritten. Inspiration: I wanted to use this to explore the bonds between Bud, Lucille, and Lewis. At the same time, I want to explore the care that trans youth require and how the most trusted, revered in our society can discriminate against them. |
