Let me tell you something about "Crossovers".

First of all, let me give you my personal definition of a crossover. "It is the union of two or more shows from different universes in a single, cohesive story"

It is very important to know how to mix the source materials you are using. You can simply weld show A with show B, or you could melt both shows and mix them together into a perfect blend, or you could disect each show and put the best elements of each show into a single story. Making a crossover is hard, since you need to have an understanding of the two shows to make the crossover work. You also need to understand that mixing too many shows could most likely result in a clutter of a story.

Super Smash Bros gets away with it because the characters you see in the game aren't actually the same characters of their respective game, so their backgrounds hold no meaning to the storyline of the games. While Marvel VS Capcon, another crossover series, has little to no story; it is just brainless chaos and we love it that way.

Now, I don't claim to be an expert on making crossover, but I have an understanding of these rules. Thus, I believe I can properly conceptualize a story that is an amalgamation of two different shows, universes or materials that I have a good grasp on.

I'm not the best at what I do, but what I do is very good.

About my work:

"Persona: SH" is my current and only work on this site. It combines elements from the popular web-series "RWBY" and from the JRPG series "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona" (more especifically, Persona 3 and 4 (Please note that I haven't finished playing Persona 4)). The setting of this story is a parallel version of Remnant, the world from RWBY, but it is significantly nerfed down from its canon counterpart, making this world more realistic, in order to let the Persona elements of the story be the center of it.

Some of the nerfed-down aspects include but are not limited to:

1. No Grimm in Remnant. Having the Grimm in the "Real World" would push the enemies from the "Shadow World" out of focus
2. No mix-and-match weapons. Because this is a more realistic world, the choice of weapons will also be more realistic
3. No Aura nor Semblance. The same with the Grimm; Having Aura/Persona Powers would make either one or the other pointless to have.

If this differentiations don't sit well with any of you, I invite you to ignore my story then.

NOTE: I cannot claim that this story is a crossover, because fanfiction.net seems to believe that "Crossover" means that it has to have the casts from both shows and medias meet each other, this story just didn't fit in that category. My story could be classified instead as a "Personaverse" AU (Alternate Universe).

Also, I'd like to give one major shout-out to fanfiction writer MythrilMoth, and to his story "Persona EG," who actually inspired me to try my hand at writing a Persona-X-over fanfic. Persona EG is a crossover between the Persona series and the Animated Movie "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls." It feartures the humanized characters from the movie in a different continuity from that of the movies.
