Set in the six month period between chapter 28 and 30 of "The Rehabilitation of Dawn Bellwether", Dawn is writing the book that will become "Predator seeking Prey" when Vernon's annual family re-union comes up. Vernon does his best to ease Dawn's fears, but as the weekend progresses things seem to get more and more out of control. Will they survive the four day holiday weekend?

Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn.
