A chance to change the flow of time allows Connor to spare his friend, Lt. Hank Anderson, the worst pain of his life. In doing so he creates a chain of events that prove their partnership and their friendship is beyond coincidence or happenstance. The duo were destined to become friends, and as a result, a true family in the end as Cole gets the chance to grow up.

Connor learns what it means to be human as Hank guides him along his journey of self-discovery. Connor is far from indestructible and his impulsive nature to accomplish his mission will be the death of him, or Hank! The animatronics are going to have to learn quickly with the new night guard. Ruby is unpredictable and prides herself on it. How are the 'bots going to react to the girl who refuses to die at their hands but also refuses to hate them?

Asriel Dreemurr had just broken the barrier and free'd the entire Underground from their imprisonment. Frisk and all her friends were ready to see the world above, and a happy ending was on the horizon.
