When Caroline turn her emotions on, her actions in the past few weeks start to sink in and she becomes more vulnerable to the world around her resulting in pushing Stefan away from her. Stefan on the other hand is more determined than ever to win her back.

All Stefan wanted was for Caroline to be okay. But she took a turn for the dark side with consequences much more dire than either of them anticipated. Starts a few weeks after 6x15. Dark!Steroline featuring Ripper!Stefan. Major angst.

I know some people will be disappointed that I didn't include a scene like this in my 'Down she Goes' story. I really felt like it didn't fit in the story I was trying to tell though. So as a peace offering, here is Dark Steroline getting down and dirty.

Takes place after the events of 'Prayer for the Dying.' Stefan struggles with his feelings as Caroline pulls away from him. Italics aren't working for this story...so there is some inner monologue of Stefan and Caroline that may not be apparent as inner monologue. Trying to fix it!

"This. This never happened." Her words burned him. The day after Christmas he found himself passed out in the grave yard, with the worst hangover of his 166 years of existence, and that says something. He was so screwed Post 6x07

"Oh sweetheart," she says with a sad smile, "He loves you." Liz is dying, Caroline is coping (yes she is), and Stefan, Stefan's breaking apart. A post-6x10 fic.

Caroline and Stefan find themselves closer then ever after experiencing loss. Steroline centric but has become more of a Season 6 story. Set after Season 5 finale. Rated M for future chapters.

Takes place at the beginning of Season 3 and then goes AU. When Caroline is feeling unappreciated, Ripper Stefan appears with an enticing offer.

Story continues after 5x04. Even with memory loss Caroline is still the one Stefan trusts. Their lives are complicated with drama and soon their unresolved feelings will start to resurface.

"I don't want to wake up twenty, fifty, a hundred years from now, reaching across an empty bed, wishing you were there, because I was too much of a coward to fight for what I want…"

After falling in love with her best friend, Caroline finds out it was all an experiment for Stefan's Psych class. She is so hurt and humiliated, she decides leaving him is the only way to ever get over her feelings for him, so she blows off her college graduation and heads West to forget Stefan. Will she be able to find happiness, or will life lead her back to Stefan? AH Steroline.

Standing up, Damon downed his drink and gave Caroline the most sincere look she'd ever seen on Damon's face. "Fine, but know one thing Caroline" Damon said seriously and Caroline's head shot up as she heard him use her name. He'd never used her name, atleast not sincerely. "Stefan isn't the only one that cares about you."

Stefan begins a new chapter in his life. A chapter where he learns that love is never far. Steroline story!
