Every conversation they had about kids ended in his saying 'someday, maybe' and really meaning 'no', and her nodding in agreement in a vague sort of way. But Tobias didn't miss the times Tris looked at Zeke's daughter like she was trying to imagine her with deep blue eyes and dirty blonde hair when she thought no one was looking.

"Why did you stay?" "Why did you leave?" she shoots back. He scowls at her like he's sick of their little game and she smiles up at him like getting under his skin is just what she wanted. "What's your name? Or is that supposed to be a mystery too?" Her question only makes his scowl deeper, makes the lines around his mouth dig trenches into his skin. "Four." **AU**

I know there are several out there, but I wanted to know how I would write it if Tris and Tobias decided to stay in Abnegation. I'm hoping to stray from what others have written and breathe some new life into this story. Let me know what you think!
