Having not been banished, Thor's the one who comes across Loki and the Casket. His legendary stubbornness comes into play when he just refuses to believe Loki could be a Frost Giant no matter how much proof he's given. Well, at least he has faith. AU.

Few people ever see inside Tony Stark; fewer still can stomach what they find. So Tony hides, closing all the doors, using charm and confidence as armor when he's not in the suit. To his horror, Steve somehow manages to see inside him anyway.

Tony craves human contact, and he thinks the only way to get it is by sleeping around or drunk attempts at cuddling. It takes a little while, but eventually Steve understands what's going on in his teammate's head, and he's determined to help.
