Well, it had been a long few years, so I decided it was time to update...

What can I say? What does anyone *ever* really say in these things? So many parts, so many pieces of a person, of a personality, where does a person start and where do they end, and how to fit it all in something anyone might be interested in?

I guess, first off, a definition of the pen name might be in order.

"Merlynnod: an archaic form of Welsh vernacular used to refer to a large pony or small horse of hardy type and substance, more commonly known in present times as a Welsh Cob."

So there's that.

I'm in my mid-thirties, which I believe makes me older than a great many writers on here...Some of my early stuff is absolute garbage, but I wrote it, and I can't quite bring myself to take it down. What can I say, I'm apparently quite arrogant! ;)

I write children's books...so far, none are published, but one of these days...maybe they can join the published world. They are not, by any means, worthy of Lewis, Lofting or Suess, but they are my own bright and beautiful things, and I love them.

I live alone, two dogs, a horse, and a varying number of fishes at any given time. I like my space and my time and my neatly ordered disorganized and completely ridiculous life. Someday there may be room for someone else, but, for now, it's just me, the beasts, and the willing ghosts of what has been and what may someday be.

I am sentimental and stupid and traditionally bohemian. (Work that one out for yourself, lol!)

I am ridiculous, I'll get on a tear for something and everything else goes out the window...until I am done with it, and suddenly I'm prowling around, BORED and empty and filled with that curious emptiness of waiting for the next project to present itself.

I am *always* late, or hopelessly early. Best of intentions and all that...I'm paving that road as quickly as I can. I may not like where I end up, but the ride was certainly interesting.

But, enough, enough about this idiot, you didn't come here for me, you came here to READ! :)
Run, don't walk, RUN, find some worlds, some characters, some space and time and revel in it! Expand what you know and what you have experienced, even if only through the singular glory of words on a page!

RUN, there is so much to read, and only so many days in a life!
