I think I am addicted to NCIS, and I have to admit, I am not keen on finding a cure! I prefer watching the original episodes rather than the dubbed ones, the atmosphere and the humor is quite different. At least, that´s how I feel about it. Being a lab-rat myself, it might not surprise you that my favorite character is Abby! She simply is great! I have been working in medical research for ten years now and I still love my job.

Something that has taken a few people by surprise already is the way I look at the Abby/Gibbs relationship. As you read my Gabby-stories you will find I wrote them as father/daughter, friends and lovers. Doesn´t make sense?

Well, in the beginning I couldn´t imagine them as lovers at all. So I worked out an explanation for their father-daughter-like relationship, respectively close friendship. You can read about it in “Weekendshift and Chocolate Cake” (“Geburtstag mit Hindernissen"). It still is my favorite theory, btw. And not outruled by anything that had happened on the show so far :-)
Another friendship-piece, but with hints of romance is “Trembling Uncertainty” (Missing scene for episode 3x21 Bloodbath)

I also tried to find out if they can actually be father and daughter. “You look a lot like her”.

“A Dog Named Jethro” (Missing thoughts for episode 5x13 Dog Tags) can be read in any way you like. “The Safest Place on Earth” actually is a romantic piece, but if you leave out the last sentence, you might not notice ;)

So far, most of my Gabbys are romance, initially concentrating on the question ‘How can Abby and Gibbs have become lovers?’ An answer is given in “Fourteen Days of Sweet Ignorance”, which has one separately posted chapter “Sweet Ignorance I” (M-rated version) and another chapter which is only available via e-mail -- “Sweet Ignorance II” -- because it´s pure smut (best way: you send me an e-mail, not a message, because e-mail-adresses are often cut out in messages!! I´m contemplating another possible way of how Abby and Gibbs can become more than just friends in “Notice of Resignation”. But has it all been a dream? Find out in “I Had a Dream”. Also concentrating on the question 'How?' are "Calling Baton Rouge" (songfic) and "Have You Ever...?"

Then there is this series of stories which I call the “No-Regret”-series. It turns into an AU story line which is not completed yet. The very right order to read the “No Regret Series” is

Although I do enjoy writing Gabby romances a lot, I hope they never go there on the show. (In fact, I think that any romantic relationship between any of the characters would ruin the atmosphere between them.) Gibbs and Abby -- I do see the two of them as really good friends in first place. As a couple -- that´s something I´ve really come to love for fanfiction. But I don´t deny that there could be something between them and every now and then I pick a phrase from the show and let romance get involved...

On the show, I think Gibbs and Hollis made a cute couple. She made us see a completely different side of Gibbs. I liked her from the beginning and I know I´m outnumbered by saying that I want her back. I have not yet given up hope ;-)

“On The Run” -- Hollis returns from Hawaii to do a friend a favor... and accidentally meets Gibbs -- now she has to realize that time would't stop for her to make the decision, which she knows is inevitable...
