How to Tell if You're a Writer
-If you talk to yourself. ( That's me!)
-If you talk to yourself about talking to yourself (i.e. 'I wonder why I talk to myself?')
-If, when you talk to yourself, you sometimes speak as if talking to another person (i.e. 'Okay, so have you ever noticed that the word 'deliver' could mean removing someone's liver?' Me!)
-If, after uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand in awe and say, 'Wow, this is good stuff for sugar highs!'
-If you live off of sugar and caffeine.
-If people start to notice that you tend to check your e-mail every day for a week, then suddenly disappear off the face of the planet.
-If your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
-If, when replying to someone else's e-mail, you are sometimes so random that you fail to address the original message altogether.
-If, no matter where you are in your room, you never have to so much as get up to reach a pen/pencil and paper.
-If the letters are starting to wear off on the keys of your keyboard.
-If you start constantly talking in third person, past tense.
-If you think about making lists like this, and start giggling for no 'apparent' reason.
-If your friends don't even bother to look funny at you anymore when you start giggling for no apparent reason.

You know what I love?

New Fandoms. That moment when a new book series is published and distributed out to the public. And you pick up the book, and at first, you start relating the characters to other fandoms, but the more you read, the more you get lost in it, and the more you forget everything else, just for a second. And you have new characters to relate with, new adventures to get lost in, a newworld to settle in to. As soon as we get those books, as soon as the author is done with it, it becomes ours.

And we’ll do whatever the fuck we want with it. Which usually includes making up crack ships, making up beautiful ships, shipping canon ships, screwing canon ships, enduring painful amounts of backlash for said ships, making up our own adventures for the characters, adding incredible amounts of humour, adding incredible amounts of angst, adding incredible amounts of fluff, twisting the character’s personality and adding so much background that you forget what’s canon and what’s not, making OC’s, pairing said OC’s with canon characters, pairing said OC’s with other OC’s, adding smut, adding more smut, adding even MORE smut, adding so much smut (straight and gay) that we are sure going to hell for this, using an actor as a faceclaim so much for one particular character that you can’t imagine said actor being anyone else, draw fan art, draw smutty fan art, draw gay smutty fan art, and once you’re done doing this, post it all on Tumblr.

Yes, I rather like new fandoms.

One person everyone seems to hate, but I don't: Peter Pettigrew. No matter what, Peter WAS a Marauder. I hate it when I read fics and they either leave him completely out or make him into some horrible person. If he was that horrible, they wouldn't have been friends with him. Yes, he made a mistake, and he should have died for his friends, but he was scared. As a teenager, he was just as much of a Marauder as James or Sirius or Remus.

I'm always open to suggestions and (constructive) criticism about my writing! I'm just getting started, so I could use all the help I can get! Thank you! :)
