So recently I realized that my profile was long and boring...so i thought i'd change it up a bit... I'M GOING TO COLLEGE!! Which I am exceedingly excited about. And you should be too, because it means more updates! ABOUT ME: I'm somewhere between the ages of 10 and 20, I live in a country that may or may not be the United States, in a state that may or may not begin with one of the first five letters of the alphabet. I'm contradictory, brutally honest, and a hell of a lot of fun once you get to know me. I love to read, write, sing, dance, act, and spend time with my friends. Music is a second language to me. I play saxophone and clarinet, and I'm learning piano. And that's pretty much all you need to know about me. AN EXCERPT FROM ONE OF MY NOVELS: I'm curious as to how well this will go over, so I want to know your honest opinion on it. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. And that was just first period. As the minutes ticked slowly by, I counted the seconds until the final bell, when my classmates and I would be done with high school for good and go off to college. At least that was the theory. However, for some people (okay, fine, just me) this wasn't the end. It was just a stage in the never ending cycle of High School. Because High School is your life, when you're only seventeen. And I was cursed to be seventeen for all of eternity. Well at least, it's a curse now. But back then, when the spell was first put on me, it wasn't a curse at all. It was a blessing. But I'm getting ahead of myself. If you really want to know my story, I have to go back a little bit. Well, actually I have to go back a lot. back to the year 1049 AD. Only we didn't call it that then. Back then, only royalty counted years. But I know that was the year I was born, because I turned 17 the same year as the Battle of Hastings, which I know now was 1066. But I'm rambling. You don't care about that. You want to know how I became cursed to be seventeen for eternity, and you want to know what happened in the year 2020, almost one thousand years after I was born, that changed my life forever. | |||||||
