The Charm Necklace in Life Made Over:

I mentioned the necklace in Chapter 2, but I felt like it deserved a little bit more elaboration into it.

The chain is just your typical gold chain that was from Booth's grandfather. The charms are sort of a symbol of an important person in Booth's life. This sounded kind of lame when I wrote it, but I liked how it pieced together, so I'll let you decide.

Obviously, if you've read the story, the dolphin came from Brennan, and I thought it was a sweet gesture, that, you know, Brennan trusts Booth with that dolphin, kind of she trusts Booth with her life, so it proved a few things just when she handed over that charm.

I decided that Sweets would be the one to give him a duck. If you've seen the show, you know Booth and Brennan and the rest of the Jeffersonian call Sweets a baby duck on more than one occasion, so to be humorous, I decided Sweets would be the one to put that on there.
