 Author has written 14 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Kim Possible, Doctor Who, Grey's Anatomy, Supergirl, Smallville, Harry Potter, ThunderCats, James Bond, Ghost Rider, and X-Men: The Movie. My name is Jessica Duffy I am a painter and a sketch artist. I live with my girlfriend Tabitha and our Corgi Jessi. I just recently started writing again after many years of not publishing. I have spent the last few years painting water colour as my main creative outlet. My girlfriend is obsessed with Japanese literature and got me to read this amazing book by Takuji Ichikawa called “Be With Me.” That novel changed my life and the way I look at the English language. There has recently been an epidemic with writers posting misinformation about SOPA and the DMCA so I have written a short explanation below about the DMCA and its effect on FanFiction. The DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) gave copyright owners the right to remove fan-fiction and fan art back in 1998. SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) is an anti piracy bill, that has no hope of passing, which is focused on shutting down websites that allow RIAA and MPAA protected films and music to be hosted and downloaded. Fan-fiction websites have been asked to remove content since 1998 when the DMCA was first passed. This is why the rules on this site contain a list of fandoms you are not allowed to write about. No one can take down this site unless it was making money off of the content by selling it to readers. Under the DMCA FF dot net isn't responsible for the stories posted here the authors are and the only legal recourse is to remove the offending content.
