Resolvi ler a história e gostei. I'm just another girl addicted to books. In fact, I've started reading fanfiction when a friend of mine from school told me about some story he had read on the net, some fan had invented his own version of what could be the 7th HP book and aparently it was really good. I gave it a try and liked it. Then I started looking up other fanfictions about HP in a brasilian site. Some time later, I found out FanFiction.net and expanded my horizons for fanfiction about other books and movies. And now I'm really addicted. I love books, especially those taking place in other worlds. That's why I love "The Lord of the Rings" and "Chronicles of Narnia". About HP, I guess I don't even have to say a word. Mistery and Investigation books are always welcome, especially Agatha Christie and A. C. Doyle. Some YA are also good, bt only some! "Hunger Games" is a good exemple. Historical romances like "Pride and Prejudice" are very dear to me. My favorite series, though, is from home: "Os Karas", from Pedro Bandeira, are that kind of characters that inspire you and saty with you forever. I even started a fanfiction about them, but never finished it. If I end up doing it, I'll post it here! Another cool series is "Eragon", but it lost its focus on the last 2 books, though it's still good. But then, taking place in a world that's a copy of Middle Earth and using the plot from Star Wars in the first 2 books, there's no way it could be bad. Which takes me to my second passion: movies. The fantasious one are still my favorites, be them about magical places and beings or about science fiction. "O Homem do Futuro" is an excellent science fiction with lots of humor, sensational. I love super hero movies too, the new Batman trilogy is my favorite among them. Historical (mainly Middle Ages) and War movies complete my favorites. Ocasionally, a drama may be watched. Horror, never. Musicals, only if they don't speak ALL the time, even to say "good morning". But above all those movies, is the best cinematographical series of all time: Star Wars. From the old to the new trilogy, including the cartoons, it's simply one of the best stories I've ever watched. I'm looking forward to the release of Episode VII. |
