Ok, about me.

*Help!!* 1/10/12-I'm looking for a Labyrinth Fan Fiction. There's 2, they were recently published, only 1 chapter long each, both completed. They were in the same series. I can't remember much, but I do know they were both set before Sarah wished Toby away. Probably before she reaches age 10. I know in the second, Sarah is upset because Jareth hasn't visited her, and she is attacked when she goes to the park. Jareth rescues her. I've looked several times for them, but I can not find them. If anyone knows who wrote them, or what the titles are, please tell me, I would be most grateful.

I'm 13...or was it 31...I can't remember.

Usually I go for cannon, but on some occasions they just don't fit for me. Not meaning to offend anyone, but in my opinion, these are the best pairings. Notice the word my, you can agree or disagree with it all you like, but you are not going to change MY opinion.

A Past Remembered-(Moonlight, In-Progress) Beth was a year older when Coraline took her, and could therefor handle what she was seeing when Mick saved her, this is basically what could have happened. And it introduces some OCs.

Some problems I've been having with PR.

Ok, yes updates are taking forever, yes they happen randomly, but it 'will' be finished, trust me, I will never abandon a fan fic without good reason (death, loss of arms/hands-unable to type...ect, ect), and in that case, I will have Evilous tell you, and then have her type everything up for me, lol.

Update on Progress-12/6/11

I 'know' it has been 'years' (literally) since I updated. I 'am' still working on it, progress is slow (I appoligize, I have several middle names, procrastination, laziness, and procrastination again, are a few of them). I'm hoping to keep you all updated on progress on here. When it if finished, I will begin posting again. Sorry, but I won't start updating the story until then, because I do not want to leave you guys hanging with the story unfinished again.

Update on Progress-12/13/11

Ok, so far still at 39 chapters, but I've filled them out, given them more substance, and am almost through with chapter 35 so I'll be able to post it hopefully tomorrow. I'm 'hoping' to get at least a few more written before winter break starts, cause after that, I probably won't be able to sit down and write much. Sounds backwards, but my sister won't have school, meaning she'll be home; and then there's the multiple x-mas parties my family insists on having (why we can't just have one big party, I haven't a clue).

Anyway, just letting you know on progress, like I promised. Gonna try and get something out to you all at least once a week, so fingers crossed.

PS-If anyone notices anything that doesn't match something I've written in a previous chapter, let me know and I'll fix it/. I re-read PR all through, but it's quite possible that I missed some things, so if you spot something, feel free to tell me, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks. :)

Update on Progress-1/31/12

Ok, I know I said I'd give you progress updates once a week, but this time I have an actual excuse. The holidays ended, and I got sick. As in sinus infection that turned into pneumonia, so I was sleeping, and coughing, and more sleeping, up until last week. Now I'm feeling much better, and can give you what little update exists.

There are now 40 chapters, all of which have good substance. There are 2, possibly 3 more chapters, which I'm still working on filling out, but that shouldn't take long.

PS-If anyone is reading these progress updates, and thinks there's a better way to go about it, send a message, cause I'm not entirely satisfied w/ this system.

Update on Progress-7/31/12

So...yeah, it's been 6 months since my last update...so here's what's happened in those months. I scrapped chapters 40 and up, they were making Beth very OOC, and I didn't like where it was going. That was a few months ago, I've since rewritten chapters 40 and 41; much more happy with them now.

PS-If someone would like to offer to beta for me that would be awesome. A sounding board would be really helpful, and having someone to proofread is always nice. I give you fair warning though, if you decide to, you may get things sporadically, and I don't know how fast I'll be, I'm trying, but we've seen how well that's gone. If I receive a response to this I'll remove this to avoid confusion.

Update on Progress-8/13/12

Not much has changed, finished proofreading 40 and 41, and have started on 42 but I seem to have hit a wall, something needs to happen and I'm not sure how to make it happen...*shrugs* I'll figure it out somehow. On another note, I'm going on vacation for two weeks, no internet, no phone, but I will have my computer. So hopefully being in the middle of nowhere will spark some plot bunnies.

Still stuck at the wall, made a little progress, but not much. I have a question if anyone actually reads this and knows the answer, please send me a PM. Did I ever give Jon a last name? I've looked, and I can't find one, but it's quite possible that I missed it.

A Tricky Riddle-(Harry Potter, In-Progress) This one does not belong to me, a friend created it, and does not wish to creat a profile, so I put it up for her. And as it does not belong to me, I am reluctant to write anything about it on here without her telling me to. So here are the basics. Voldemort had a daughter, the same year Harry was born, eventually she goes to Hogwarts, and A Tricky Riddle, is the story of what happens.

Unfortunately, TR will remain on permanent hiatus. The author has decided to focus on a career in writing and wishes to focus her efforts on her own writing instead of fan fiction.

WARNING WARNING RANT AHEAD!!

Okay, this is what I have to say...despite what you may think, it was made for more reasons than than to attract younger audiences and make "stupid, hormonally-charged, squealing phangirls" take over. Actually, there are less 2004 fans than Leroux OR MC. Before you start screaming at me for my views, your statements have most likely been answered:

Statement: "Gerard's voice sucked"

Response: Since that is a matter of opinion, here is mine...Michael Crawford was previously a comedy actor. Gerry has done many different genres. Seriously, high, squeaky, comedic voice vs. deep, emotional, human voice...hm.

Statement: "His deformity wasn't bad enough" (and you still think that sunburn joke is sooo original)

Response: Think about the time period. People back then were not phangirls who know about science and have probably seen worse. Those people were very religious and thought any deformity (especially of the face) was a curse of the Devil. Also, the musical's version was made for distance, so the far-away audience could see it better. The movie has close-ups, which doesn't require such dramatic make-up.

Statement: "Emmy looked like a goldfish"

Response: Erik is supposed to be entrancing her, luring her in. She doesn't have many thoughts. Also, if you thought you had seen an angel, you'd be staring too.

Statement: "Emmy was too young"

Response: Hello! She's sixteen in all versions! Of course she's going to be young!

Statement: "Gerard was too muscular"

Response: He travels five flights of stairs to get anywhere, he can climb ropes, AND has the capacity to kill a person. I think a person who could do all of that would be very well-built.

Statement: "Gerard was too tan"

Response: Did you notice how dark the kid version of him was at the fair? He already had a dark complexion, which he cannot change, no matter how long he stays underground. And I personally would rather him be "too tan" than covered in so much white make-up (MC!!) that you can't tell the difference between the mask and the rest of his face.

Statement: "That movie caused all of the Phantom world to turn into screaming teenage girls who can't spell for crap and write dumb stories.

Response: Oh really? Just because you are a glorified Leroux-thumper or MC-fan doesn't mean your stories are automatically a gift from god. Some of those fans write poorly too. It depends on the person, not their preferences.

Statement: "You're stupid if you like that movie."

Response: You're stupid if you think this entire paragraph was directed specifically to you.

It is wrong, and you can flame me all you want, but it is and I hate it! One of my friends is gay, another is a lesbian and several more are bisexual. Their sexuality may be different, but they are still human and can feel pain, and love just like the rest of us, but some treat them like they are lower than dirt. I don't care who you are, you have no right to turn someone away or stop being their friend because their sexuality is different than yours, or the norm.
