Men's jewellery

Hi, I'm Silvana Mallia, I'm from Malta and I'm a precious metal clay jewellery maker and designer. That's right, first it looks like clay, but when finished it's solid silver..or bronze or copper, or almost any other metal you wish. It's a fantastic medium to work with, with which you can be as creative as you wish. I've created a number of collections featuring necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. One of my first collections was ‘Bizzilla', which is Maltese for ‘lace'. The pieces in this collection are all imprinted with Maltese lace while still at the clay stage. This brings out a beautiful lace pattern in the metal. I like very much working with bronze clay. I usually give it an antique finish to resemble old jewellery, such as the Etruscan jewellery we see in museums today. Having a warm golden hue, it can be a substitute for gold and more affordable. I also have a small collection of men's jewellery, which includes cufflinks too. I do bespoke jewellery too, for those who would like to have a special piece or gift made.
