So instead of an update this time I'm revamping my actual bio bit, again. (February 14, 2019).

I'm still a fairly random oftentimes crazy gal. I still love music (literally almost all genres). I've been delving into fanfictions for almost eight years now. Sometimes when I find a particularly good story or just start reading into a new fandom I'll easily pass the whole day, most the night, and well into the next morning away with nary a distraction from reading. Of course that's not every day, but it's more than often enough. Even on normal days it's exceedingly rare for me to go without reading at least a few hours of fanfics.

I've posted a little bit of my own stuff over on Deviant Art and tumblr, but most of it is just scraps of tiny little bits and very little of it (at the moment) is actually fanfiction. I really hope that I've improved in my writing over the years, but most of what I write (and more importantly what I'm more likely to share) is poems which tends to be more subjective than other forms of writing.

I've recently came to a point where I'm no longer all that concerned about trying to write: I build worlds, cobble together loose plot out-lines, stick them in a folder, and occasionally I'll write a scene or two, but it's just as likely they'll never see the light of day. And I'm okay with that. I have a few books to help me improve and give me exercises to try and encourage me to do it more - because it truly is something I enjoy, so some day something might possibly come of it. But I'm not in a hurry, and if I never write any masterpieces to share, at least it's something I enjoyed. I do occasionally (very rarely) write thoughts, headcanons, meta, and the like on my fandom tumblr, however, which is asnowingfandomofashes.

I still ramble and I don't always make sense. I'm not as talkative anymore, but fandoms, and writing, and stories are still among the few topics I enjoy talking about. You can always contact me on here or anywhere else you may find it, but don't expect a quick answer (and if Archive of Our Own ever gets a messaging system feel free to contact me there too).

11/21/12 - Okay, so I took down my only story to ever be posted so far, Twins : Tiger and Wolf. I've been moving away from anime and manga fanfictions for a while now and I lost any idea of how to possibly proceed with writing the fanfictions I had started on for them. I'm still writing and I personally think I've improved some, but I've not yet gotten any second opinion on that. lol. I'm much more likely to post on FictionPress, if I do try posting again any time soon. I've mostly been writing poetry, although I've started a few stories of my own as well. It is possible that I might attempt a Harry Potter fanfiction at some point as I've been stuck in that fandom on here for a while now, and have a hard time finding good stories with some of my favorite pairings. Also maybe at some point or other I'll bother updating the rest of this profile.

12/4/14 - Wow, so I've not been on here in a very long time. There's still a few stories I try to keep up with on here, but mostly I'm stuck on Archive of Our Own now. I actually do have a fanfiction posted there (I'm not sure if it's any good at all, it was a Harry Potter/Hunger Games crossover/character study-ish thing), and I'll probably post it on here after I finish updating my profile. Also, I've started considering (again) adding original stuff (poetry and WIP stories) to fictionpress. Granted I've been saying that for a long time now and always chicken out. I've not read any manga fanfictions in a really long time now, but I am still into Harry Potter fanfictions. I've also become quite addicted to the Marvel Movie Universe and Teen Wolf despite never having watched any of either. My favorite characters just so happen to be Clint Barton (Hawk-eye), Phil Coulson (Agent), and Tony Stark (Iron Man). Also I'm now much less likely to use text talk and have improved my writing (I think/hope) both in conversations and stories. However, I'm also insanely busy all the time now. Which paradoxically means I get more written, same amount read, much less talking to anybody, and nothing that I really really need to do gets done.

1/10/15 - Okay, so much shorter amount of time between updates for once. :D (lol). Mostly just wanting to mention that I now have a DeviantArt account. I've posted The Volunteer on there, as well as a few short snippets from original stories that I've started but will probably never finish. I also am using it to post those poems that I've been mentioning for forever, but have never had the courage to post. If I can ever figure out a good way to go about it, I'm thinking about trying to use DeviantArt to post story prompts for people too. I've already played around with posting a few on the collections thingy for Archive of Our Own.
Also if you like the pictures I use for my profile picture and story picture now, please check out my DeviantArt account since I use it to post a lot of my digital art like that (although I have a few other types of digital art on there too). I also check DA more than just about any other site (actually I check it more often than I do my emails and text messages), so if you ever want to talk or ask questions that would be the best way to go about it. (I will still check on here too but you're more likely to get an immediate answer on DA). Just keep in mind that unless I've talked to you before, I generally take a while to answer because I prefer over-thinking the wording of everything I say on the internet. XD And I'm also a very busy person; so there is some weeks that I might have 5 minutes to check DA and read the message Tuesday, but not get the 15 minutes to actually type, spell-check, edit, and then send the reply until Friday or Saturday.

5/15/18 - Just a quick update since I realized it's been a while: I still have my Deviant Art, but am hardly ever around there anymore either. I can't guarantee responses on hardly any particular site, but if you send a message here I'll try to get around to a response sooner or later. I also realized that links no longer work in profiles - so if you're looking for me elsewhere I can tell you that I'm around here, Fictionpress, Archive of Our Own, DeviantArt, and tumblr all with the same username of SnowyAshCat. I'm also roundabout on some other sites such as a lot of browser games like FelisFire and FlightRising, but I go by Wyshca on a lot of those.

I would greatly appreciate any help people could give in finding groups dedicated to the aforementioned fandoms I'm in on Deviant Art and Live Journal. (I have a Live Journal but absolutely no clue how to work it...) Please send me links of any that you know of?
