My name is Julia. I'm 16 years old. Readingis my life. I'll read just about anything. Writing is also another big thing in my life. I've been writing poetry and prose since third grade, but I've been telling stories since forever. My mom says that my preschool teachers used to write down some of the stories I told them. My mom says that some of them were actually okay.

If I had to pick a book to be my favorite, it would be 'What Happened to Lani Garver' by Carol Plum-Ucci. It's funny and sad and happy and unfair and true all at once. Although I'd recommend being at least in seventh grade before reading it. I was eleven when I read it because my teacher told me to. Not sure if that was the best choice on her part.

My favorite Anime is 'Spirited away'.Absolutely amazing. There are a lot of things that are mentioned once, but no again, which totally messes up everything I've learned about plot structure and foreshadowing. But with stuff like the train, or Lin (Rin) and her past, it gives you plenty to write and think about!

My favorite Manga is Fullmetal Alchemist. I got the complete boxed set for Christmas and nearly died from excitement! I can't even point out why I like it...I love everything! Although a few of my favorite characters are Envy, Hughes, Lan Fan, Havoc, Riza, Mei, and Pinako.

My favorite movie is 'August Rush'.Such an inspiring movie. I loved the story and all the music (BEST MOVIE SOUNDTRACK EVER!!!!!!!!!). And of course, my favorite actor, the amazing Robin Williams, plays the epic character Wizard. Oh yeah, and I loved the ending. It just cuts off after August smiles when he sees his parents for the first time. Perfect for the obsessed fanfiction writers!

My favorite comic is 'Calvin and Hobbes'. Hilarious. If you've read it, then you understand why I needn’t say more. (:

My favorite game is...CHRONO TRIGGER!!!!!!! Almost finished the game! Soooooo epically awesome. Not good for fanfiction, but still...

Favorite play/musical...now that's a hard one. I've seen about ten. Been in more then that, but my favorites you've never herd of. I doubt you know what 'Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!' or 'Allison Wonderland' is. So I'll settle with 'Wicked'. UPDATE: I have fallen for the amazing musical called Rent. It has the best sound track I have ever, ever, ever herd. In my life. I cry every time I listen to 'I'll Cover You (reprise)' and 'Without You'. Not just when I watch the scene. And of course Idina Menzel, my favorite actress, is one of the main characters.

I don't watch TV; therefore I don't have a favorite show. Shocker, right? I know. UPDATE: I now like Glee. Shocker, right? (: I'm not quite a gleek though, so don't worry. And also for notice, I only watch it after it's come out on Netflix Instant play. yeah...I know. My favorite character is Kurt, by the way. It's funny, bacuse my best friend hates Kurt so much. We fight over it a lot. :)

My favorite cartoon is 'Avatar: the Last Airbender'. No hesitations. No pauses to think. I'm beyond obsessed. Anyone else wonder what happened to Smellerbee and Longshot after Jet died? Anyone else wonder what happened to Lee and his family? Anyone else wonder if Lee's brother, Sensu, was found? Anyone else wonder?

As you might have noticed (or not), I’ve been going through my favorites based of the fanfiction selections on the little 'Browse bar' above. So of course I have to put what my favorite Misc. is. Greek Mythology. I'm a little obsessed. Just a little. I mean it...Okay fine. I'm REALLY obsessed with Greek Mythology. But seriously, how can anyone resist Apollo's charm?
