But at 32, she's determined to find the woman that disappeared out of her life without a second glance, get answers to her questions, and hopefully something more...

AU: After Jane's job at the NYPD doesn't go the way she had planned she transfers to the BPD for a new start and to be closer to family. After Maura leaves her Abusive boyfriend she moves to Boston for a fresh start as the new chief M.E. (trigger warning: Domestic abuse & mentions of rape in police statement.) Eventual Rizzles.

Jane is complaining about her birthday when Maura pipes up with the fact that she has never actually had a birthday party.

Sometimes you can feel the moment when your life changes; something happens and you feel a shift. Maura Isles didn't believe in fate; not really, and yet the day she and her daughter met Jane Rizzoli she couldn't help feeling like somehow her life had changed. She wasn't really sure what she felt that day and yet she couldn't help thinking that maybe, just maybe it was fate.

They find Maura two hundred and ninety two days after. Rizzles. COMPLETE.

(AU) Maura Isles is a successful architect with two children and is going through a nasty divorce. She's having a hard time when she meets her new assistant, Jane Rizzoli. Can Jane help Maura find herself again and break down the walls of her heart?

After a brutal attack, Maura wakes up with no memories of the last few years. Jane struggles to come to terms with her friend not knowing who she is, and they both must work together to get through it. May turn into a series if received well. Enjoy :)
