Hello everyone who reads this. It is Saturday, June 14th and i haven't been on this site in over 2 months. I am currently reworking chapter 4 of my Shana fanfic but its taking more time than i thought. With finals over and nothing to do over summer i should be able to have 4 out and 5 almost done by the end of June maybe mid-July, but no promises... TTYL

UPDATE: LIES! i haven't touched the story in over a week... XD (June 22nd)

Story Status based on Priority:

1. The Beginning - Chapter 4 - Reworking - 30 percent done - 193,754 percent NOT done - NOTE: I'm not taking any information from the chapter out. I'm just reworking all the paragraphs so that it reads more flowingly. Maybe rewording some things to make them fit together, but I definitely need to rework the whole thing so i can be satisfied with it. I apologize for releasing a less than complete work out. I am working hard trying to get it straight this time and promise not to release shoddy work like that again. Thank you for your patience! When complete I will post the chapter but title it "Renegades v2" for a while to notate the difference, then change it back once I'm sure everyone has figured it out.

2. The Beginning - Chapter 5 - In progress - 5 percent done (Opening paragraph)

3. The Beginning - Chapter 1,2, and 3 - Minor editing - In progress - NOTE: There are some things that can and will be changed (over time). The chapters themselves will see no major changes unless something drastic happens, for which I will call your attention to it at the time of its change. Again be patient. My mind has been racing with ideas and twists and plot developement over the past few days that working on minor adjustments of past chapters has taken a backseat to the continued storyline.

And now I'd like to say a few words as to why I am doing a Shakugan no Shana fanfiction. But that comes when I decide to think about why I decided to do it in the first place. For now I'm trying to figure out a good profile layout so i'm visiting people's site and taking a look at the way they set their stories up on their profiles. Well that's all for now. Opinion Time!!

I HATE when, during translations, the names of characters are changed into American or "Western" style. A nice name like "Suzumiya Haruhi" or "Kurosaki Ichigo" will be vandalised and changed to "Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Ichigo Kurosaki". This takes away greatly from the sound and meaning of the name and makes it hard to keep a flow in a sentence. In Japan, surnames are ALWAYS place before given names. Why is it so hard for American viewers to understand that just cuz the name is backwards, it doesn't give us the right to change a person frickin' name? And it also shows ignorance in our society, that we can't let things alone, we can't accept something at face value. If we come across a foreign name, doesn't matter what it is, we'll put whatever their given name is FIRST and their family name AFTER. Its terrible and its destroying Japanese culture as I love it.

Please excuse me, I am very passionate about such things, and tend not to make sense by the end.
