The mission to capture Darth Revan goes according to plan-except for the last part about returning to the Council with her prisoner. Unfortunately for the Jedi Padawan that rescued the Sith, now she's trapped inside a damaged ship, in unknown territory, and it's possible that Revan didn't suffer nearly enough brain damage to render him unable to speak.
