 Author has written 1 story for Ranma. Not much to say. I'm French, that would probably explain why I'm often mixing British and American English. As for what I read, well, an awful lot of manga. My favourite among them would be Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It is not well-known but it is a monster of originality. I also read a lot of more classic books: most of what Stephen King wrote, some works of Victor Hugo, Dostoievsky but also books like Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter... I have rather eclectic tastes. I worship Rock'n Roll and Metal. But again, I have eclectic tastes. I also like Stravinsky, for example. As for what I write, I intend to do my versions of Jojo's after Stone Ocean. Araki draws Steel Ball Run with characters from the 1890 era but I don't believe that all the characters were killed that easily. That's why I decided to create the parts 6.x. I hope I can convince people to read this awesome manga. Mangas I worship: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (originality at its rawest) Berserk (an ode to carnage, the best example of Dark Fantasy that I know of) City Hunter (one of the most charismatic, funny and perverted hero) Grappler Baki, New Grappler Baki, Hanma Baki (best fight scenes I've ever seen with insanely detailed (if unrealistic) drawings) Black Lagoon (extremely violent, extremely well-thought and with a plethora of charismatic yet vicious and ruthless characters) Homunculus (an extremely unsound dive into the worst aspects of human psyche) Ichi The Killer (the most violent and unsound manga to date, with hardcore characters) Blade Of The Immortal (probably the best drawings ever seen in a fantastic feudal Japan, extremely hardcore too) Otaku Girls (also known as Mousou Soujo Otaku-kei, an hilarious story about female otakus, the worthy successor of Genshiken) Ludwig Revolution (a funny parody of Grimm's Tales) Ranma 1/2 (extremely funny and silly) Gintama (the worthy successor of the former) Family Compo (the best mix between comedy and drama I have ever seen) There are many others but these are the best, at least to me. |
