Post episode 9 AU. Rather than escaping from Amon at Tarrlok's mountain cabin, Korra is captured. She makes a bargain with the Equalist leader for the safety of her friends, sacrificing herself in the process. Things don't quite go according to plan. There is snark, sarcasm, romance, friends, and old wounds to be healed. And the occasional shenanigans.

Korra was surrounded by equalists, and she was alone. The only way out was to make a traitorous deal with Amon. Who knew the deal would have such repercussions? *Smut occurs here*

When threats emerge from the shadows of Republic City and everything begins to fall apart, they will be forced to decide: how much are they willing to sacrifice for the sake of love?

Following the victory of the Equalists, Korra infiltrates a masked celebration in hopes to taking Amon down. Things don't quite go according to plan. Based on a prompt by Ryuki Rose from one of the Amorra TinyChats which was based off of David Bowie's song "As The World Falls Down" from Labyrinth. One-shot, complete.

Amon must cooperate with Korra if he hopes to survive his injuries following a natural disaster, forcing him to face his prejudices about bending head-on...and leaving him grappling with an inconvenient growing attraction.
