ABOUT ROSULA:

You may call me Rosula or Rose, but I won't be sharing with you my real name and age. I will, however, tell you all that I am old enough to get my driver's licence, yet young enough that I'm unable to legally purchase alcohol. My light brown locks are indecisive when it comes to being straight or curly. One side is usually flicking, while the other is crazy or wavy. My eyes can't decide between aqua and greyish green. I like to think they're mostly aqua. I'm of a thin and athletic build, and I love to dance. If you wish to know more, simply PM me. I won't mind.

I'm here to write, of course, and I've been writing for over two years. I love formal writing, but I find my style of writing differs depending on the story and its genre. I like a fair few genres as long as the story is both written well and has a decent plot with well-developed characters. I'm very approachable, so if you wish to chat, swing me a private message. I won't mind.

ROSULA'S FANDOMS:

I have bought all three seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the movie, Spirited Away, on DVD. I intend to write for those fandoms; specifically, the pairings Zuko/Katara, Aang/Katara and Chihiro/Haku. Of course, I may slip in a oneshot of other pairings from Avatar, but the two pairings I've listed for Avatar will be what I write the most, and those are the pairings I favour. Eventually, I'll begin a Chihiro/Haku fic, too. I write many genres, although my story ratings will surely be T or M. FYI, I'm expecting the Avatar DVDs to arrive within the two weeks, as I bought them from eBay and the DVDs are being transported here by air.

ROSULA'S FICCIES:

Title: Shattered Glass
Fandom: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Main Characters: Malaya (OC), Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph
Rating: T
Genre: Friendship, Hurt/Comfort
Summary: Malaya never chose to suffer at the hands of solitude; however, she very nearly succeeds to persuade herself that solitude is a necessary sacrifice. But when she’s caught airbending, a thread of fate begins to unravel, and she finds she’s no longer alone.

ROSULA'S REVIEWS:

I enjoy giving constructive criticism because I feel I'm giving something back to the writer, who was lovely enough to write the story for us readers to enjoy in the first place! I comment about things I like/dislike, what could be improved on, what effects your writing possessed, the plot's impact/how well it was structured, what I think will happen next, what I like/dislike about your characters, etc. I know I'd appreciate reviews like that, so I simply wish to appease other writers who would surely like such reviews too! I'd appreciate it if you did the same and reviewed my stories. I'd also be grateful for any constructive criticism, like what I listed above. Just no flames, please, because I do take those personally, as would anyone else, and all they do is bash the writer's self confidence and aspirations to one day become published.

Believe me when I say that I wasn't the best of writers when I began at the age of thirteen and four months. I knew about commas, capitals, etc. and could spell; I've always been good with my grammar and vocabulary skills. The flow of my writing, however, was utterly terrible. If I'd been flamed, especially at such a young age, I would most likely not be as skilled at writing as I am now due to believing I was beyond help. Also, at the age of thirteen, many aren't good at writing, but they do have the potential to be as they get older. That's why I believe constructive criticism is fantastic. Flames aren't. They're just inappropriate. No matter how terrible the story is, one has no right to flame. Plain and simple. Perhaps those that do flame hungrily strive to absorb the pride of the writers they flame, and thus these flamers are egotistical enough to continue flaming. It's sick; like these flamers feed off other's loss of self-esteem. And that's my depressing rant for today on reviews.

Sometimes, however, I'm really not in the mood for long reviews or I may be new to the fandom, thus new to reading it, and may not feel comfortable giving constructive criticism on it.
