I discovered fanfiction about a year ago and now I've decided to have a crack at it my self.

Ring and Mace - Formerly Pain of Reality

Does not contain spoilers, but it will give some vague direction of were this is heading, im simply stating my goals and why i'm making this.

What was going to start a merely one long story, i have now decided to take it even further, i have read many fantastic HGGL focused stories yet i never want them to end as soon as they do, i usually have around a dozen plot lines running through my head at any one time and now i believe i have come up with a fantastic way to use all of them.

Superman-Man of steel Version, but not the story as i haven't watched the film, he will be referenced vaguely to Smallville occasionally - reason - Superman in some iterations (see pre-1980's Superman) have been far too powerful in my opinion, you either have to go out of the way to make weaknesses for Superman to make anyone else of use or Superman simply is better than the league. In the man of Steel, he still had incredible strength but it was lowered from be able to sneeze and vaporize planets to struggling with that oil rig not exactly weak but quite a come down never the less. I am simply putting this out there in case anyone, as a lot of people would like to know, what sort of Superman i am using. E.g. Superman will use his strength a lot faster if there is a lack of light and will become a lot stronger the closer to a source of light he is.

This series will include other Planets and Races and in some cases play a large role. I will be making my own history for the story to create some tensions and pasts between Planets and this could effect the league and Earth itself.

I like to develop situations, as much as i despise politics, it will be included in my story, i wont have, race A meets Race B (insert what you think happened here) back to the watchtower. It is a critical part of the story development, if a bit slow, i'll keep this to a minimum.

I am using the JL cartoon line up and there will be no mention of unlimited for the time been, other heroes will appear, but not as part of the league.

I have launched a poll, i have the ideas for what comes next when this Arc ends (not soon) but i decided to see what you think. the titles should give hint enough.
