I'm a fifth-grade teacher trying to push my writing abilities a little further. I don't expect that I'll ever be a novelist, but I do want to improve on the craft of writing. I love reviews, but who doesn't? I have tried to review to all people who post comments just to let you know how much I value your input. I had a suggestion that I incorporated and it became the best scene I've written. Imagine Emmett on a rollercoaster. Read to find out what happens!

Anyway, if you're here, let me tell you about myself.

I'm in my 30s. I have two boys and a wonderful husband who is just laughing and laughing at my newest hobby. I'm keeping it a secret from a bunch of people that I know because they're going to think I'm obsessed. Well... maybe just a little. I can't help it if Stephanie Meyer created a world that I would love to spend time in. That's what caught my attention with Harry Potter- you could almost believe that these worlds existed in our own. I don't actually believe in vampires and magic and all that unless it's my 4-year-old wanting to know if Spiderman really lives in New York and can we go visit him? I read all the time, and I have to admit that I love stories that create worlds that could be real. Two of my favorite books are The Moorchild by Eloise McGraw and The Giver by Lois Lowery for exactly that reason.
