They were both broken. In different times, in different ways. They could commiserate and comfort each other, that was for sure. Perhaps they had even already done so. Oneshot.

Henry finally tells Jo the truth. Abe thinks his father is an idiot.

A bad storm causes Henry and Jo to be stranded at a motel and there is only one room left... a tender moment is shared between the two. Mortinez friendship.

It might be foolish to think that a man of seventy could offer life lessons to one a century and half older, but immortality, Abe had observed, was often blinding. Sometimes the simplest truths were tucked away in plain sight, but if you've been staring for too long, you're never going to see them.

Jo seems worried about something and Henry can't help his curiosity. Probably a bit OOC, but I tried! It's a new show, after all.

Henry thought parenthood was an idea he had long given up when he gained immortality. But an encounter with a baby named Abraham soon has him questioning whether it is something he needs to give up or not. There are a million reasons why he shouldn't adopt this baby and only one reason he should.

"It happened occasionally, the bad days, the ones where her own personal dementors consumed her consciousness and brought her back to this shell of a person, the one who cried for no apparent reason and needed to be held together, but never willing to ask for the comfort."

Mortinez, pre-ship. Written in 15 minutes as a writing exercise. Jo told Henry to wait while she investigated. He borrowed Abe's cell phone to stay in contact while he waited. When the line goes dead, he gets worried.

Henry does something and Jo asks questions. Abe thinks the situation is hilarious.
