Author has written 4 stories for Batman, Young Justice, and X-Men. Update December 2016* A little hiatus the past few weeks for the release of my latest comic and the holiday. Check out Rheizig #1, available now on Comixology! Please support my comic studio, Shroud Media, on twitter and facebook! And check back each Sunday for a new chapter of The X-Men! Thank you for all the encouragement :) Updated 2016 Hey, thirty year old dentist based out of DC and MD by day, and owner of Shroud Media, an independent digital comics publisher by...late afternoon/evening/night? Follow us on twitter! And check out my first comic Riven, on sale on Comixology! Anyway, getting back into the fanfiction game for two reasons. One, to scratch an itch. Two, its a great way to practice and exercise. If writing is a sport then fanfiction is lifting weights at the gym. Just trying to get stronger. Check out a new X-Men chapter posted every weekend. Thank you :) Original: Hey yo. I'm fairly new to the whole fanfiction thing, but I have to say that so far it is pretty cool. Maybe it is just the initial novelty of it all, but I am genuinely enjoying being able to read so many original and creative takes on characters and contexts I am already familiar with. Kudos fanfiction.net, give yourself a nice long pat on the back (in a good touch way). Anyway, onto myself; I am an astronaut, a basketball player, president of the universe with a 14 inch...wait, that's Captain Hero, my mistake. Seriously though, I am a 21 year old, Y chromosome having, (dis)functional member of society. In terms of what I like to read, I would have to say that my favorite novels, even though two of them are plays, are: A Streetcar Named Desire, Macbeth, Kane and Abel. My favorite comic books would have to be: X-Men: Fatal Attractions, The Sandman: Brief Lives, Batman: The Long Halloween and since we're already here, how about a short list of my favorite music, despite the fact that this has absolutely nothing to do with anything: Prince, Canibus, Cormega, AZ, KoRn, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, and the Cranberries to name a few. Well, that's it for now, if you want more of me, then visit my online journal (the hallmark of any true nerd) Enjoy the fine products advertised! |
