Australian medical journal documents improvements in health with prayer

British Medical Journal Study on Retroactive Prayer/Intention- Prayers said years later reduce severity and length of illness in past.

Duke University doctors, without telling the patients, sent heart patients’ names to prayer groups/ monks in Nepal, Jerusalem and Baltimore. Patients in the "prayer group" performed 50 to 100 percent better than patients who weren't the prayer targets. Similar study (the first of its kind) done in University of California in 1998.

Some people are meant to lead, some to follow, some to get out of the way. Me? I'm meant to write about them, their idiosyncrasies, their histories, their neighbors, how they all unintentionally set wheels in motion and how they make the little boy (there, on that corner, waving the flag of indistinct colors) feel. So here I am, starting again, to clear my head, cleanse my soul and sharpen my wits.
