Can Sonny end the rivalry between the two groups?

im gonna put some refrences from the show into the story, for example:
Sonny tries to settle the dispute between the two groups by sitting with each other at lunch (peace picnic) and Chad makes a fool of Sonny, Tawni, Nico, Grady, and Zora, causing the beginning of Chad and Sonny's love/hate relationship.
