I'm just your average mildly deranged metalhead/fangirl, sharing my mildly deranged thoughts with the internet at large in the hope that somebody finds them interesting. ^_^

Interests: music (see below), reading, science fiction and fantasy, adult-oriented animation (as in, "not intended primarily for children," not porn), some comic books/graphic novels, mythology, folklore, reconstructionist paganism, Northern European history and culture, historical reenactment, fandom, cool old stuff.

Music: mostly metal \m/, but I actually have pretty diverse tastes.

Bands: Opeth, Immortal, The Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, Týr, Type O Negative (RIP Peter Steele), Voltaire, Porcupine Tree, Dethklok, Midnattsol, Wintersun, Rammstein, Hammerfall, many others.

Fandoms: Harry Potter and Metalocalypse, for the most part. I like slash if it isn't too stereotypically seme/ukeish, het if it doesn't fall into Romance Novel cliches, and OCs if they don't hijack the story and turn the other characters into mindlessly worshipful pod people. I like femmeslash in theory, but a lot of my fandoms are sausage fests and don't have enough women in major roles to make it practical.

Characters: Nathan Explosion (you can keep your bishies, he's my idea of a sexy 2d man), Toki Wartooth (so cute! If he was real, I'd want to take him home and cuddle him even if it would probably get me killed), Luna Lovegood (hilarious and oddly sweet), Neville Longbottom (lovable dork with the heart of a warrior), Mister Nutt (pure badass wrapped in adorable).
