Since Nick Wilde joined the ZPD three years ago, he and Judy Hopps have been partners and highly successful cops. Over time however, and unbeknownst to Judy, Nick developed strong feelings for the feisty bunny - only to learn that dreams can quickly turn into nightmares … Sequel to "How to Treat a Festering Wound" and prequel to "Hammer to Fall."

Nick Wilde had given his all to achieve his dreams - to be more than just some fox. But when the cold indifference of reality came crashing down it left him broken and lost, waiting for the end. But that's what happens when a little fox tricks a bunny police officer to pretend being his mother at school and then hustles his divorced father to take said bunny for a date. Or maybe two…

Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn. While mostly a slice of life as Judy and Nick find out more about each other, and try to figure out their relationship, loose ends from the missing mammals case will eventually emerge.

Nick and Judy write e-mails back and forth as Nick struggles to adapt to the world of being a ZPD Academy trainee, and Judy tries to tackle her next case with a temporary unhelpful partner.

Nicholas Wilde is his own worst enemy. A successful international spy, his own discontent has doomed him. He is brought back from the brink by a simple farm bunny with big dreams. Prince Nicholas Wilde now has the Region of Foxhollow to rule. A fact he's...impartial about. But his royal life is turned upside down when he receives a gift with long ears and a cottontail. Romance, bloodshed, betrayal, tolerance, and more are in store for the predator and prey who are about to change history.

Zootopia is gripped with civil strife over the rights of interspecies couples, whilst a political storm is raging Judy and Nick must be honest with each other. All the while a heist gang are stealing millions from the corrupt and giving it to the poor, it's time for Judy and Nick to stand for what they believe in.

Judy Hopps has everything she could ever want... Except for the love of a certain fox who isn't attracted to prey. She wishes there would be a way to bring the two of them together. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get lycanthropy.

Are they rookie cops? Yes, yes they are. Will that stop them? No, no it won't. Judy and Nick may have solved the biggest criminal conspiracy to hit Zootopia in decades, but that doesn't mean they know the ins and outs of the ZPD they have to learn like every other officer, by having trainers and making mistakes. When Nick suddenly refuses an assignment from Bogo, he's forced to reveal an extremely painful glimpse of his past to both his boss and his partner. Judy wants more than anything to help him, but Nick adamantly does not want her involved. Stubborn as always, she involves herself anyway and discovers something unbelievable that may light the fox's way through his darkest hour.

After Bellwether is arrested, Nick finds that he doesn't know what to do next, instead just putting one paw in front of the other. It's been a year since Judy and Nick became partners at the ZPD, and they still struggle every day to prove themselves. When the head of the Cottontail Corporation comes to them with a case against a family of foxes, Nick and Judy find themselves faced with the question: What is most important? Loyalty to one's city, one's species, or to the partner who means more than anything?

Judy and Nick are given a task that seems more like a fun getaway: providing a little security for the annual Bunnyburrow Fall Harvest Festival. But things aren't as peaceful as they may now be in Zootopia, and the two cops are thrust into a brand new caper - solved with the help of a certain pastry-baking fox from Judy's past.
