This aspires to be a series of oneshots derived from that final scene in 3.8. Because seriously, it had the potential for so much gay in so many ways to be limited to just ONE oneshot.

Feeling like their friendship isn't as strong as it once was, Maura realizes she not only wants to close that distance but she wants even more. She devises a plan she thinks will bring her and Jane even closer together.

Boston's finest finally gets a new Homicide Lieutenant, a no-nonsense, female detective from New York, who dresses in designer suits, drives an expensive car, and is a Yankees fan. What happens when you have one hot night with ur BFF who has just announced she is getting married. This is set a year after season 3 starts roughly so I guess its season 4ish. It has some minimal Casey in it but does not really match the show re him and Jane. I have written almost all of it and am just fleshing some bits out. FINAL CHAPTER IS HERE! ENJOY!

Nobody knows the wicked ways of Metropolis like Santana Lopez, PI. In San's world, the women tend to be drop dead gorgeous and the men tend to drop dead. Britt walked in that steamy summer night and San knew she was trouble in black nylons and red heels.

I wasnt going to do this but people seemed to want a follow up so here it is. Jane and Maura are pretending to be a couple at dinner with Hope and Cailan and get a little carried away. An AU set in the Old West. Why? Because I want to know how a proper, aspiring female doctor would react to a driven, hard-as-nails woman on the range. They don't know it yet, but Maura's fiancee just met his match.

Oneshot that treats the idea of Jane being kidnapped and handcuffed to a bed as something you don't just make jokes and say "what ho, good times!" about two minutes after the fact.

The candid moment startles the both of them, seems to rattle the foundation of the facade Jane wants so desperately to keep up so she doesn't have to try and deal with the kinds of feelings Maura breeds within her. Jane/Maura. Not a ranch AU.
