Hello world! I'm ImpulsesOfLife.

*NOTE* I'm still in school, and as most of you probably know, if you do not do your homework it is unlikely you'll do well in classes. So lots of my time is dedicated to schoolwork right now, plus there's the everlasting issue of writer's block, and also I have a life outside of FF.net. So that being said, I'll update whenever I can.

A bit about me...

• I'm a girl! But don't judge me by that.

• Age: I'm thinking of a number between one and a hundred...

• My birthday's in June.

• I live in Canada, as you can tell by the little Canadian flag at the top of my profile page, and I was born here. My nationality other than that shall remain unknown.

• I speak two languages fluently; English and French.

• I love to dance! It's one of the few things that help me survive this crazy world.

• My pastimes include dancing, reading, and writing.

• My favourite books change all the time, but right now I like Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, One For The Murphys by Lynda Mullaly Hunt, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli, Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume, Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler and Maira Kalman, Ashfall by Mike Mullin, and We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.

• My favourite book series are Percy Jackson and the Olympians & The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer! I also like The Lying Game and Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard.

• My favourite quote: "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated." –Confucius

• My favourite TV show is Teen Wolf! :D I also really like Scream Queens, Black-ish and Fresh Off the Boat!

• My favourite poem is Untapped by Ashlee Haze. It's just...perfectly true. I love it. I also like To This Day by Shane Koyczan.

• I have three favourite bands: Of Monsters And Men, Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers. I also like Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons.

• My favourite songs change all the time (literally on a day-to-day basis)... But at the moment, some that I like are San Francisco by The Mowgli's, Prayer In C by Lilly Wood & The Prick ft. Robin Schulz, Ocean by Boy Kiss Girl, Going To Be Wonderful by Tom Rosenthal, Everyone Requires A Plan by The Lumineers, Six Weeks by Of Monsters and Men, Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Silhouettes by Of Monsters and Men, and Lush Life by Zara Larsson.

• My favourite YouTubers include PewDiePie, Rhett & Link/Good Mythical Morning, Liza Koshy and nigahiga.

• My favourite actor is Rupert Grint for his young self being phenomenally sassy. I also like Amanda Seyfried.

• My favourite movies are Mean Girls, Up, Zootopia, and Mamma Mia.

• My favourite subject in school is probably English. (Or Foods. Or Math. Or Science. I'm pretty indecisive.)

Probably my favourite quote from HP is when Harry visits Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for the first time. I swear, I've never laughed this hard while reading a Harry Potter book:

My Bucket List (a.k.a., 40 things I want to do in my lifetime)

1. See the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).
2. See a solar eclipse.
3. Own a house with a willow tree. (I really like willow trees, I've always wanted one but my backyard is teeny—so I want one when I eventually buy my own house.)
4. Visit Greece for at least a month (preferably a summer, or maybe even a year).
5. Take a trip to Hawaii.
6. Try bungee jumping (preferably off a bridge or somewhere where the sight below is nature, not off a building where all you see is cityscape and concrete).
7. Go skydiving.
8. Write a book and get it published. (Maybe also write an autobiography.)
9. Visit somewhere really remote and random, such as Easter Island, or a cute or weird little place in Africa or Iceland or Russia.
10. Get on a bus or other mode of public transit and stay on it for a little while. Get off at a random stop.
11. Go to a floating lantern festival.
12. Swim with dolphins and/or sea turtles.
13. See firefly squids in their natural habitat (Japanese waters).
14. Start a memory jar for 2016.
15. See the pyramids in Egypt (and maybe ride a camel while I'm at it).
16. Learn how to ski well (I've gone once but it was a few years ago, and I want to learn how to REALLY ski).
17. Learn another language (maybe Danish, Russian, Spanish or Mandarin).
18. Go paragliding.
19. Fly in a hot air balloon.
20. Stay at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden.
21. Go snorkelling and/or scuba diving.
22. Become an early riser for a year (or visit someplace, stay there for a while and wake up early almost every day).
23. Spend a summer with friends in a lake house.
24. Try geocaching. (I almost did once, but then I didn't. It seems really fun to me.)
25. Learn how to actually use chopsticks (I couldn't use chopsticks to save a life).
26. Visit the National Museum of Dance.
27. Place a love lock on the Pont de l'Archevêché with my significant other and throw away the key into the river below (or at least, this WAS on my bucket list until this summer when they took all the locks down and made it illegal... So I guess place a love lock on a bridge significant to us).
28. Stick a piece of gum on Seattle's Gum Wall.
29. Try surfing and learn how to do it well.
30. Visit Africa and see some really ancient baobab trees. (Touch them too.)
31. Go whale watching.
32. Go to college or university abroad. (Maybe in the same country but definitely not the same province. I want to explore other places.)
33. Go camping with friends.
34. Go berry or fruit picking and then make my own jam out of what I collect.
35. Get married and consider having kids.
36. If I don't get married, adopt a kid.
37. Rent an apartment with one of ma BFFs or my sister.
38. Go to Denmark with my Nana (a.k.a. my grandma)
39. Rent out a beach cottage for a summer.
40. Work in a bakery.

I'm not revealing any details yet, but I'm pre-writing the whole thing before I post it, so there'll for sure be regular updates :) (I'm thinking maybe once or twice weekly.)
•I also have another up-and-coming story which, like the first one, will be pre-written...Coming late 2016, I'd say.

In other news, I have a ton of ideas for new fics, but they're still in development and I'm not gonna start writing ten fics at once.
