Riza Mustang has been injured during her captivity and is fighting to escape. She calls the one person who she knows will be able to keep her sane, grounded, and be able to help her through it. Unfortunately for Roy, he's been searching for her for three weeks, and has to return home to their son to tell little Maes that Mummy won't be coming home tonight.

Ba Sing Se has fallen and Katara has been captured by the Fire Nation; a more adult take on the potential progression of S3. AU series of interconnected one-shots. Zutara. Rated for lemons and general darkness.

Told through a series of time-woven scenes, Riza and Roy must fight with, and for, each other in order to take down a corrupted military official. But it is during this dangerous mission that Roy comes to a terrible, heavy, inconvenient and grave realization about his subordinate; he is in love with her.

So, there was a new secretary in the clerk's office. Every day, she waltzed in and gushed, "Roy" and he would smirk, "Missy." Riza would grit her teeth and correct him under her breath, "Sergeant Robbins." Every. Day.

May Chang isn't there to heal Riza on the Promised Day.

Roy stops by Riza's apartment to help give her some time to relax, but is met by smoke pouring out of the cracks of her door frame. Written for Royai Week 2016 day 6.

AU in which Riza was killed during the Promised Day. In the midst of a breakdown, Roy shows up in the middle of the night at Ed's place and tells him to hold onto his gun for him before he does something he can't take back. Implied past Royai, drabble, warning for discussion of suicide.

Follows Roy through the episode in which he finds Gluttony strangling Riza. "His mind skips to years ago and he remembers swearing, with the pungent smell of her burned flesh still in the air and her boiled blood dribbling through his freshly ungloved fingers, that he wouldn't hurt her again. That he wouldn't let anything like this happen again."

Turning towards him, her hands reach out to frame his face. His skin cool to her touch, she asks, "Won't you be cold now?" "No," his voice is gone, swallowed by the thunderous cacophony of his heart. She is so close. And her fingertips caressing his face, his chest, stopping right over his heart, his heart beating away with such abandon behind his ribs, the traitorous thing.

In their shared hospital room, Roy and Riza confront the realties of the aftermath in darkness.

Roy receives a phone call late one night from his seemingly invincible Lieutenant Hawkeye. But eventually every invincible has to fall. Written for Promptember on Tumblr.

Maybe it's the alcohol due to a wild night celebrating Maes Hughes' birthday, but Roy is having the damnedest problem with Riza being far too alluring and it appears as if she might feel the same way. A fun night goes from slightly out of hand to life changing. (Royai)
