In order to teach his archangels about his love for humanity and as a sort of punishment for the whole apocalypse thing he assigns each of them a human child as their charge. They will raise them and feed them and bath them and be the parents these children deserved. The only problem is, these children are adorable and the archangels might become attached to them.
