Well, after a certain number of events in my life, I've decided to come back to the one thing that gives me complete joy - reading and writing.

I've been writing since I was in the seventh grade... so it's been a good ten years or so now. It started out as tinkering around for a friend's birthday and then it turned into something more. Though writing has been known to cause me a great deal of stress from time to time, I'm never happier than I am when I've got a new plot idea rolling around in my head... or when I hear a name that I think would make an excellent character.

As for my favorite genres of fanfic, I would have to say that at the top of my list these days would be Days Of Our Lives. Of course, I've never abandoned my love for The X-Files and still enjoy a good fic from time to time. Among others I've been known to check out from time to time - Reba, JAG, Army Wives, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and Christy.

Primarily for the last few years it's been a great NASCAR addiction and an affection for creating my own characters and writing original fic.
