"Strength without wisdom falls by its own weight."

My original account, Wrath of Athena, can also be found in my favorite authors list. This pen name used to belong to that account but if ever I'm going to make this active, it'll be for the specific purpose of reviewing or posting in forums. Had I been born elsewhere, I would have wanted to be born in Athens -- this is how much I adore Athena.

"Athena, Greek goddess of wisdom, of household arts and crafts, of spinning and weaving, of textiles. Inventor of the flute, the plough and the ox-yoke, the horse bridle and the chariot. Athena, goddess of war, guardian of Athens, the city named for her; defender of heroes, champion of justice and civil law."

Why the Pen Name?

The pen name "WizdomGoddess" is a carefully crafted name that I believe best suits my interest in language and literature. The first one involves my love for wizardry; thus, explaining the "Wiz" and the "dom" (taken from fandom).

Now why was the 'Goddess' added? It has nothing to do with my desire to be a divine figure, rather, if you put two and two together...WizdomGoddess refers to the Goddess of Wisdom, or the Warrior Goddess Pallas Athena. Why do I like her? She's a strong and eminent figure for women in Ancient Greece, protector of the city, the patroness of domestic arts, strategic in battles, and known for her superb logic and intellect. However, I do not entirely associate myself with her because first of all, Athena is a 'divine entity' and I'm human. Period.

I merely love using her name as a pen name because she's my favorite greek goddess ever since childhood. Consequently, my love for mythology spurred my interest in literature.

Greetings, daughter of Zeus
Who holds the aegis,
Now, and in another song,
I will remember you.

Oo...AS A FANFIC REVIEWER...oO

A picky reader makes a picky reviewer.

I may be an amateur writer, and there are writers here in FFN who write far better than I do, but I assure you that I'm not your typical reader around the block. I've got a very high standard on fanfic authors who could write well. I lower it, rather significantly, towards authors who struggle with their grammar.

I never click on a fanfic not recommended by my friends or my critic buddies. Some of my critic buddies don't want to bother themselves in the fandom anymore. From what I've heard, a lot of authors they have criticized couldn't get over themselves.

If you weren't recommended by someone, and I left a review, it's because of one of these three: 1) Your fic is probably found in the sci-fi, friendship, sprituality or horror genre; 2) We've interacted in a forum, blog, or another website; 3) Your writing holds substance and it appeals to me.

I always include constructive criticisms in my reviews. If you don't see one, then it only means I've separated it in a PM; so wait a little longer, it's on the way.
