Kara had a rough day and she just wanted to let loose for once. Everybody else gets to drink, so why shouldn't she? When Alex gets sick of Kara gate-crashing her date, the Kryptonian ends up at the apartment of one Lena Luthor, where she divulges far more information than she ever intended. AKA: Kara Danvers and drunken confessions.

As far as everyone's concerned, Kara Danvers is just a normal high school student. But when Lena Luthor is kidnapped, Kara decides to risk her normal life to save the girl. After things don't go according to plan, though, Kara has to adjust to her new life as Supergirl. If that isn't hard enough, she's also determined to figure out how to get Lena to notice her as Kara Danvers.

Alex is missing and Kara is at a loss. She opens up to Lena about it, and Lena jumps at the chance to help. Will this bring Kara and Lena's friendship to the next level? How will Alex fare after her rescue from the water tank?

Sort of "Young Blood", vignette style, from Diane's perspective. But the first half ended up just being Diane and Alex backstory that is just as applicable to canon as to my 'verse. So...if you're not into the YB stuff but just want some early Diane and Alex, first chapter's still completely applicable. For the second chapter, you only have to have read "YB" not all the sequels.
