Eye of The Beholder

Summary: Starfire undergoes the attack of someone from her past. Robin realizes his true feelings for his best friend. This is my first story, so be nice. Robin and Starfire fluff.

Chapter 1: Meeting Glewudin

Everyone was at the table eating breakfast. It was a normal day in the Titans Tower, Cyborg and Beastboy were fighting, Raven was consumed in a new novel, and Robin and Starfire were talking about earthly customs. When all of a sudden, the alarm goes off. “Titans, Go!” Robin yells as they all go. As they go down the street, they see a lot of places destroyed. Wondering how this was done, Starfire flew up faster than everyone else to get there quicker. When she lands at a park, she goes over to a little girl, sitting on the ground crying. “What’s wrong little girl?” Starfire asks in her sympathetic way. “Be careful Star.” Robin says behind her while getting off of his R-Cycle. “Oh what do you mean Robin? She’s crying! We must help her!” Starfire walks up and put her hand on the little girls shoulder. As soon as she does this, the little girls head turns slowly around, and with glowing red eyes she says, “ Hello Starfire, long time no see.” “Wha…,” Then the “little girl” glows a reddish glow and morphs into a woman. She has long glowing gold hair, she cackles a long laugh. Her gown is a white “roman” style gown. “Who are you?!” Starfire asks in confusion. “Star! Get away!” Raven yells in her monotone voice. Starfire slowly walks away, back to her friends. “Oh no, no, no! Come back here my precious Starfire!” He hand glows red and Starfire is pulled toward her. “Ahhhh, help me!!” Starfire screams. “Help her ya’ll!” Cyborg says as he grabs a hold of Starifre’s ankle. As the other teen titans grab Starfire and try to pull her down, but it’s no use. “A ha ha ha ha! It’s no use Titans!” The Lady puts her hand in front of her, pointing toward Stars friends. Blue blots of light escape her and hit the titans forcing them to fall backwards, leaving Starfire dangling in mid-air. The Lady slowly starts to take flight off into the sky. Starfire screams at the top of her lungs. “Starfire.” Robin moans as he drifts into unconsiness. (don’t know how to spell it)

Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ in an abandoned warehouse

“Where am I? Hello? Anyone there?” Starfire asks in complete confusion. “Ahhh, its nice to see that you’re finally up.” ‘That voice’ Starfire thinks among herself, I know that. “Glewudin? Is that you?!” “Yes, it is I, Glewudin, mistress of the sea!” (I know, lame) “But, I thought you were in prison for those awful things you did to my family?” At this point, Starfire was a little light headed from trying to figure all of this information out, and of course when Glewudin grabbed her with that red stuff. ‘What was that? Oh well.’ “Yes well, I escaped that dreadful place, to finish my long awaited business! And now that I have destroyed everyone else of your family! I will destroy you!” she gave that evil laugh again. “What?! You destroyed my family!” Now Starfire was consumed with anger from Glewudin hurting her friends, to kidnapping her, and now hearing that she killed her family. Her hands start glowing green and her eyes lit up with hate. “Dear child, I only do what is best for everyone!” Glewudin says with a hint of fear in her voice. “Oh really? Was it best for everyone when you killed my family? Or when you hurt my friends? NO!” “Oh please foolish one, you know that I’m the rightful heir to the thrown of Tamaran, not your stupid family!” ‘So that was why she had done all this’ Starfire thought. “You will most pay for your actions!” Starfire yelled as she flew furiously at Glewudin.
