First, let me tell you that my parents are being somewhat annoying and are making me post this story anonymously. . . Okay. . . Now for a little about myself, but not too much or my parents won't get upset. I'm female (which I hope you've already figured out) and somewhere between 14 and 16 years old (that shouldn't be too hard for ya'll). To name a few hobbies/obsessions: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, anime, Shakespeare, Renaissance Faires. Music: Al Stewart, Broadway, and the folk-rock group Steel-eye Span. I love reading: some fav authors include... *glances at nearest bookshelf* Peter S. Beagle (EVERYBODY should be required to read The Folk of the Air or Tamsin. They're two of THE best books ever), Tolkien, Theodore Sturgen, Diana Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce, Lois McMaster Bujold, Philip Pullman, and Anne McCaffrey. I also do a lot of writing, mainly fantasy but a little science fiction too. Shadow Singer is my first story for the net tho. So please read and review!

My personal life? well now... I have an extensive harem consisting of Spike Spiegel, Vash the Stampede, Mamo-chan (don't you dare call him Darien in my presence!), Legolas, Sirius Black, Hotohori, and Tasuki, and Ardeth Bay. But if you're nice to me, maybe I'll let you borrow one or two of them for a while :P
