You've gotta love humor, and without humor, you couldn't live. Even if you're just a dead-serious, anger-engulfed, top-of-the-line Dr. Deadbeat, believe it or not, you encounter humor on a daily basis. I, personally, believe that humor is a basis for everyone's life. He who has lived and not laughed, ahs not lived at all. Whereas, he who has only lived for a few years, but has laughed, has had the better life, for although he may not have been on Earth longer, the impressions that humor had on him will surely be remembered.

If you're going to make you mark in this world, what better way to do it than to write? I mean, come on! Writing is WONDERFUL!! In the case of fiction, you can make up your own characters, give them ANY personallity you want, put them in any situation you want, and have the do whatever you want. You basically take control of a whole world of your own, be it fake, or even this world we live in today. You can make a wise-cracking German General, a shy, withdrawn fox, or even a highly respected sea captain, who's a wolf! Hell, when you write, you'd better make it good. Because, when you write, you choose what others will read. and what others read, influances them to go out there, and maybe even give writing a try for themselves...
