Jason and Elizabeth get married to prevent him from being sucked into a marriage of convenience. After they get married in secret, he pays her trip to Italy where she'll become one of the youngest most successful artists in the world. When Jason needs her to return to Port Charles, however, she takes an indefinite hiatus to be there for him.
