![]() Author has written 2 stories for Hunger Games. Gender: Female. I can tell because of the darn bleeding. Age: Eh? I'm supposed to keep track? DeviantArt account: snowydaysnow MY COMIC. It is wanting to be read by you. It is also about the internetz. There is also fandom. Now that I've covered the shameless advertising & basics (Isn't it funny how in the anime world, my DA account is more important than my name?), I offer up a humble guide to fanfiction-talk. This is for the people like me, who aren't born knowing the difference between lemons and limes. Canon - what is true (Harry Potter is a wizard attending Hogarts.) Fanon/FanCanon - what the fans accept to be true (Canon-Canada has blue eyes, but Fanon-Canada has purple eyes.) Head-canon - what one fan believes to be true (In my head-canon, America and England are a couple, even if Canon-wise they're not.) Fanbase - the dedicated fans of a TV show/anime/game/sock/other form of media. Fandom - the fanbase and their collective work, including fanart, fanfiction, etc. POV - Point Of View (The Hunger Games is narrated through Katniss' point of view.) OC - Original Character OOC - Out Of Character (Like writing about a happy-go-lucky, kitties-and-rainbows Voldemort) AU - Alternate Universe (Pokemon characters as space-fighters, or the cast of Glee fighting in WW1.) WIP - Work In Progress Fluff - A tender moment between two characters, like a sweet kiss or hug. Lime - Too intense for fluff, too tame for a lemon. Lemon - Sex scene |
