Hello to all of you slightly insane, generally dysfunctional people out there. Cheers to us. We have more fun anyway.

Who am I you ask? I've been trying to figure that out for sometime now. It hasn't been working though. I blame it all on my conflicting personalities.

As for this site... I found it one day and never left. I'm addicted to the Harry Potter universe and have decided to start posting some of my poetry here as well.

Oh yes, back to me. If you really want to know... I've warned you. I'm either going to make you laugh, make you think I'm insane (which I don't deny), or scare you off. But I don't bite. Usually. Here are some basic facts as found on my homepage:

I love emo, indie, punk, rock, metal music.

I read way too much.

I don't believe in God. Yes! I am that naughty A word! Atheist. Shhh... Don't tell your mommies. (If you're a religious person and this offends you... I really don't care. Debate with me if you'd like about religious issues. I'll win.)

I'm a complete introvert. This means I don't like YOU. Then again, my being an introvert can't be blamed for my anti-social tendancies, right?

I like cats. I have three.

My family is insane. Don't laugh. I'm serious.

I like serial killers.

Then again, I'm sorta out there too.

I'm too empathetic and caring.

I love to color my nails with black permanent marker.

For now I'd like to pursue criminal psychology as a career.

I don't watch T.V. Only movies.

The one guy in The Shining, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, etc. scares me. Jack something.

Duckies go moo and cows go quack.

There is me! More or less at least. I'm going to copy down some (ok, a lot) poems, lyrics, and quotes that I like too. I have no life. It's a sad, sad thing.

"God made me an Atheist. Who are you to question his judgement?"

Fall From Grace
(The Get Up Kids)
I'm watching you fall from grace
Breaking a heart of gold
Don't ever try saving face
Just run with your heart of stone...

The Bradley
(Further Seems Forever)
False pretense
A lack of resonance
A derisive sentiment and
confidence
These bonds were always fake
Crafted for safety's sake
But pasted wings
And foil rings
Do not an angel make
I see you've left me with your,
Your last word
It's ringing
With the noteless shrill of jealousy
And the claims of imperfection
And the crying out for
The things that you deserve
But your voice is never audible
Beneath the anger in your words
It's ringing
It's breaking me...

Punk Rock Princess
(Something Corporate)
If you could be my punk rock
princess
I would be your garage band king
You could tell me why you just
don't fit in
And how you're gonna be something
If I could be your first real heartache
I would do it over again
If you could be my punk rock princess
I would be your heroine...

So Last Summer
(Taking Back Sunday)
The truth
Is you could slit my throat
And with my one last gasping breath
I'd apologize
For bleeding on your shirt...

Glycerine
(Bush)
I'm never alone
I'm alone all the time
Are you at one
or do you lie?
We live in a wheel
Where everyone steals
But when we rise it's like strawberry fields...

What It Is To Burn
(Finch)
I feel diseased
Is there no sympathy
For the sun?
The sky's still fire
But I am safe in here
From the world outside
So tell me
What's the price to pay for
glory?
Like a bad star
I'm falling faster down to her
She's the only one who knows
What it is to burn...

Jumper
(Third Eye Blind)
The angry boy
A bit too insane
Icing over a secret pain
You know you don't belong
You're the first to fight
You're way too loud
You're the flash of light
On a burial shroud
I know something's wrong
Well everyone I know has got a reason to say
Put the past away
I wish you would step back from that ledge my
friend
You could cut ties with all the lies
That you've been living in
And if you do not want to see me again
I would understand
I would understand...

Motorcycle Drive-By
(Third Eye Blind)
That's when I knew that I could never have you
I knew that before you did
Still I'm the one who's stupid
And there's this burning
Like there's always been
I've never been so alone
And I've...
Never been so alive
Visions of you on a motorcycle drive-by
The cigarette ash flies in your eyes
And you don't mind
You smile
And say the world it doesn't fit with you
I don't believe you
You're so serene
Careening through the universe
Your axis on a tilt
You're guiltless and free
I hope you take a piece of me
with you...

You Wanted More
(Tonic)
Love is tragic
Love is bold
You will always
Do what you are told
Love is hard
Love is strong
You will never say that you were wrong
I don't know when I got bitter
But love is surely better when it's gone
'Cause you wanted more
More than I could give
More than I could handle
In a life that I can't live
You wanted more
More than I could bear
More than I could offer
For a love that isn't there
Love is color
Love is loud
Love is never saying you're too proud
Love is trusting
Love is honest
Love is not a hand to hold you down
I don't know when I got bitter
But love is surely better when it's gone...

insane world."

"Fate tends to make fools of us all. And it is rather fun to watch." (Borrowed from a member on ff.net. I forgot who you were, sorry.)

people."

From The Perks of Being A
Wallflower Poem
(By Stephen Chbosky)
Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts
That was the year Father Tracy
took all the kids to the zoo
And he let them sing on the bus
And his little sister was born
with tiny toenails and no hair
And his mother and father kissed a lot
And the girl around the corner sent him a
Valentine signed with a row of X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's
meant
And his father always tucked him in bed at night
And was always there to do it
Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because of its new paint
And the kids told him
that Father Tracy smoked cigars
And left butts on the pews
And sometimes they would burn holes
That was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
And the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see Santa Claus
And the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed a lot
And his father never tucked him in bed at night
And his father got mad
when he cried for him to do it.
Once on a paper torn from his notebook
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Innocence: A Question"
because that was the question about his girl
And that's what it was all about
And his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her
That was the year that Father Tracy died
And he forgot how the end
of the Apostle's Creed went
And he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
And his mother and father never kissed
or even talked
And the girl around the corner
wore too much makeup
That made him cough when he kissed her
but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
And at three a.m. he tucked himself into bed
his father snoring soundly
That's why on the back of a brown paper bag
he tried another poem
And he called it "Absolutely Nothing"
Because that's what it was really all about
And he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist
And he hung it on the bathroom door
because this time he didn't think
he could reach the kitchen.

Help stop inbreeding. Ban country music.

"Why can't I feel anything from anyone other than you?"
(Taking Back Sunday)

The Goonies R Good Enough
(New Found Glory)
Here we are
Hanging onto strains of greed and blues
Break the chain then we break down
Oh it's not real if you don't feel it
Unspoken expectations
Ideals you used to play with
They've finally taken shape for us
What's good enough for you
Is good enough for me
It's good enough
It's good enough for me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Now you'll say
You're starting to feel the push and pull
Of what could be
And never can you
You’re merely stumbling through this...

I Want To Save You
(Something Corporate)
And she wants someone to see her
She needs to hear she’s beautiful
She’s beautiful
I want to save you
I want to save you
I need you
Save me too
I want to save you...

Camouflage
(Allister)
Hiding in back and never make a sound
If you don't speak your thoughts
They can't be turned around
You lead a targeted youth
Would only talk to certain few
Can't find the courage to leave your shell yet
Torn apart and...
Camouflaged in the background and holding things
deep
Never showing your true self to the kids you meet
Finding shade in imagination
One more day forgotten to the world...

One Step Closer
(Linkin Park)
I cannot take this anymore
I'm saying everything I've said before
All these words they make no sense
I find bliss in ignorance
Less I hear the less you'll say
But you'll find that out anyway
Just like before...
Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break
I need a little room to breathe
Cause I'm one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break
I find the answers aren't so clear
Wish I could find a way to disappear
All these thoughts they make no sense
I find bliss in ignorance
Nothing seems to go away
Over and over again...

Crawling
(Linkin Park)
Crawling in my skin
These wounds they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real
There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface
Consuming, confusing
This lack of self control I fear is never ending
Controlling, I can't seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced
That it's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure
Crawling in my skin
These wounds they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real
Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting, reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection
It's haunting how I can't seem...
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced
That it's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure
Crawling in my skin
These wounds they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real...

Daddy's Little Defect
(Sugarcult)
Going all the way
Looking so helpless
Everyday
Daddy’s little defect
All the same
Keep your secrets away from me
If you wanna be mine...

If I Am
(Nine Days)
So you're standing on a ledge
It looks like you might fall
So far down
Or maybe you were thinking about jumping
Now you could have it all
If you learned a little patience
For though I cannot fly
I'm not content to crawl
So give me a little credit
Have in me a little faith
I want to be with you forever
If tomorrow's not too late
But it's always too late when you've got nothing
So you say
But you should never let the sunset on tomorrow
Before the sun rises today
If I am
Another waste of everything you dreamed of
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down
So you're walking on the edge
And you wait your turn to fall
But you're so far gone
That you don't see
The hands upheld to catch you
And you could find the fault
In the heart that you've been handed
For though you cannot fly
You're not content to crawl
And it's always too late when you've got nothing
So you say
But you should never let the sunset on tomorrow
Before the sun rises today
If I am
Another waste of everything you hope for
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down
So you're standing on a ledge
It looks like you might fall
If I am
Another waste of everything you dreamed of
I will let you down
If I am
Only here to watch you as you suffer
I will let you down
The answers we find
Are never what we had in mind
So we make it up as we go along
You don't talk of dreams
I won't mention tomorrow
We won't make those promises
That we can't keep
I will never leave you
I will not let you down
I will never leave you
I will not let you down...

Precious Illusions
(Alanis Morissette)
You'll rescue me, right?
In the exact same way they never did
I'll be happy right?
When your healing powers kick in
You'll complete me right?
Then my life can finally begin
I'll be worthy right?
Only when you realize the gem I am...

Bent
(Matchbox20)
If I fall along the way
Pick me up and dust me off
And If I get too tired to make it
Be my breath so I can walk
And if I need some of your love again
Give me more than I can stand
When my smile gets old and faded
Wait around I'll smile again...

"You deserve the best that I am."
(Flaw)

Letting The Cables Sleep
(Bush)
You in the dark
You in the pain
You on the run
Living a hell
Living your ghost
Living your end
Never seem to get in the place that I belong
Don't wanna lose the time
Lose the time to come...

Oh shitters. This is one long bio. I think I'll leave now. Toodles! Send me an e-mail or instant message if you'd like!
