![]() Welcome to my humble abode. No doubt you're here for the honest and extremely blunt reviews I give out to so called 'budding writers' who continue to introduce self-inserts into already interesting canon fiction to get with the nearest male character and play out the role of their fantasies. These, children are called 'OCs' or Original Characters; only that most are anything but original and just mean taking traits that the writer thinks would be cool to give their future selves. Main character of Twilight anyone? That's a horrendously vulgarly constructed story. Some OCs are very well constructed and deserve nothing but praise, at least you've bothered to look at what fits inside the universe you're writing for, have an interesting unique personality and not follow archetypes. Any OCs that I do enjoy reading shall be posted to my profile when I find some of interest to me, currently I have not been looking however. I don't flame, I criticise - there's a massive distance between them. I get several mails each day in my Inbox in response to my recently submitted reviews, most are in fact positive and show that I am merely stating what other people are rolling their eyes at or can be too timid to announce. Thank you for restoring my faith that there are good writers out there willing to make a stand against the morbid state that some parts of fandom has turned into. Canon, fandom, heterosexual or homosexual do not blind my judgment when it comes to story writing; I am open about all walks of life and I will continue to stay that way. Acceptance isn't a crime but discrimination is. I am a guy by the way people; the name's Anthony if you really wish to know. Side Note; The permanent fox in my icon slot symbolises quick wit and cunning, they are a creature I have admired since birth and probably will continue to do so. Name her/him if you wish, it does need a personality. I do not own the art displayed on it; Culpeo-Fox on deviantArt does however. |
