Hello all,

I'm a 40'ish year old girl from the Netherlands who loves to write.

I used to do little 'what if' stories in long hand ever since I was a kid. I didn't know it was called fanfiction back then. I started out in Dutch but all too soon wrote all the dialogue in English. Soon after I switched to English-writing entirely. After a while my stories got longer. I leaned toward the buddy shows and/or the science fiction shows. But it wasn't until I got into the 'Starsky and Hutch' fandom (and got internet connection!) that I realized I wasn't the only nutter writing angst driven character stories and such. I gained some good friends from that fandom who encouraged me to post and who helped me grow both as a writer and in my English expertise.

Besides 'Starsky and Hutch' I followed both the Stargate and the Doctor Who fandom, though I did nothing active in them. After a while I decided to write a few challenges in the SG-1 fandom concerning the Jack and Daniel dynamic, but it wasn't until Atlantis came along that I really felt at home writing for the characters of Rodney and Sheppard. Doctor Who is another matter. Peter Davison is 'my' doctor, but David Tennant is also a fave of mine. The two stories I wrote came out of nowhere, wrote themselves really and were finished in no time. Kind of scary, actually. But... that's the Doctor for you! Other interests are MASH (love the humour combined with drama), Xena (love the depth of the stories in this show), Red Dwarf, Quantum Leap but also All creatures Great and Small. Lately I've fallen in love with the series 'Merlin.'

So... there you have it... All I can say more is... hope you enjoy what I've written. I'm currently working on:

Echolocation (Stargate Atlantis). Sequel to Circle in the Sand. Contains priestesses, a quest, shattered trust, a mystery, goats, and lots of angst of course. Mostly McKay and Sheppard. Status: 20 percent done. Working on chapter 6.

Escape Clause (Alias Smith and Jones.) Summery: How far will Curry go to comply to his brother's wishes? Especially since the man has a smothering grudge against Heyes. Status: 60 percent done. First chapters have been posted. Working on chapter 6.

Demons & Angels (Starsky&Hutch). Co-written with Strut. Summary: who is the angel? And who is the demon? Hutch hurt. this story can be found here. Status: in slow progress... (which beats 'on hold' right? Right.) Nov 6th: Working on chapter 5.

Manifest (Merlin). Summery: Sometimes the threat doesn’t come from outside, it comes from within. Measures are taken, and choices are made to root out the culprit bent on destroying Camelot. Status: In progress.

Update: Sometimes your muse attacks you with a totally different kind of story. As a long time Peter Davison fan, the All Creatures story 'Silver Lining' just could not be avoided and made a welcome change.

Update March 2012: I will finish Escape Clause and Echolocation, but it will take time. Meanwhile I'm jump starting my muse by writing something in a completely different fandom. Anyone who loves the concept of friendship just has to fall in love with the show 'Merlin'.

Update December 2015: My good friend and beta-reader Starsky's Strut passed away this year. In light of this heartfelt loss I will not take in another beta reader. But I might one day finish these stories without one. You are profoundly missed. Rest in peace my friend!
