Austin and Ally are both accomplished Singers. The only difference, Ally enjoys her career. Austin no longer writes with Ally, no longer sings his own songs and no longer loves music. Austin has become a musical slave. "You'd replace me?" I asked incredulously. "In a heartbeat. There's always another teen boy who sings better and dances better."

He rocks, she writes but can they really make it together? Austin and All decide to become partners, only for the sake of their friends. And it doesn't help that their first impression sucked, can these two even make it one day together? Will they work things out and become friends or even more or will they spend all of summer hating each other?

With her mom dead and her dad failing to be a parent, Ally has no one. She has shut her friends out and has left Austin no choice. If she built a wall, he is going to be the one to tear it down. If she is going to freeze everyone out, he is going to thaw her heart. Because no matter what happens, or what did happen, Austin isn't going anywhere. Auslly and eventual Trez.

Summertime is the best time when you live on the small island called Lost Isle, and especially when you're Austin Moon. All he wants to do is surf, eat, and have fun with his best friends (and his adorable pet monkey, Coco). But then Ally Dawson shows up on his beach with her bratty city girl attitude and his perfect summer goes out the window...or so he thought.
