![]() Author has written 2 stories for School Rumble, and Harry Potter. Readers, I have a very dark mind. I'll apologize in advance for it. Forgive me my sins and my disturbed dreams and let me live out my dark fantasy. SUMMARYYYYY: Blonde. Former cheerleader and current Dance Team member. Halfway decent in English and Spanish and History, while being a total disaster in Math. Nicknamed Grifftits, but I only let my close friends call me that. Aspiring to be a writer, like everyone else, but I plan to publish while I'm still in high school. Perhaps under an alias. That would be cool. Brief synopsis: I love Avatar and Legend of Korra, but I like that latter a little less. (See long-ass summary of myself for details.) I'm also into various animes. I'm pretty smart for my age regarding writing and such, and I feel like the school-standardized English program crushes creativity, which is probably why I keep on failing the essays. I actually don't suck at them, but they regulate them so that they'll all look the same. So I come here to positively glow with imagination. I'm extremely dark once you get to know me, which mingles with my cheeriness to create an overall pleasant but frightening experience. Deal with it. I plan to marry a dictator and become corrupt Madame President of the universe. So, everything aside, welcome to my FanFiction page!!! All advice gratefully accepted unless you're a bitch about it!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dear fellow Fan-fictioners, Yay! Profile-writing time! Basically, I've loved this site for years and I decided to make my own account, dammit. My profile name sounds just a wee bit morbid and depressing, so let me explain. "Lover of the Light", by Mumford and Sons, and "No Light, No Light" by Florence and the Machine. Pretty self-explanatory. I write my own stuff that's not fan-fic, and is becoming pretty awesome, to tell you the truth, but I need somewhere to put my writing that could never ever be published because of bloody copyright laws. Hopefully, one day soon this book that I'm writing will be published, and I will become the much-younger J.K. Rowling. But for now I slave away on my prehistoric laptop, feeling like the ego-maniac I secretly am deep down on good days, and the tortured, misunderstood artist that kind of pisses me off but I can relate to on bad days. My best friend is lafellana. Go read her stuff now. She got me addicted to the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, which I'm probably way too young to read but whatever. I can seriously read anything without being phased. It's really good and the main character is just plain fabulous. I also love Game of Thrones ((books and t.v. show) - ... which I'm also considered too young to read by society in general. C'mon guys, let's not judge.) -the Hunger Games, Harry Potter (Duh. I am the Harry Potter generation) and anything by Libba Bray. I love a bunch of t.v. shows (Awkward, Doctor Who, Masterpiece on PBS, etc, etc.) but my absolute favorite shows are Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. My friends and I have a theory that the creators of these two extraordinary shows (Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko) are actually gods who know the meaning of life and Avatar is their way of sharing it with the world. (Who else thought the season finale of Korra was super-dark? Whoa to Noatak and Tarlokk, right? Never saw that coming.) Anyway, my dream is to kidnap Libba Bray and the creators of Avatar and make them write up the most badass, awesomely controversial storyline in the history of the planet. And the universe, if possible. Okay, not the universe. That could mean some seriously messed-up shit, you know? But I at least want to meet all three. I listen to far too much music for my own good. I love conspiracy theories. I refuse to eat cabbages ever since making the mistake of reading The Life Cycle of Cabbages: A Love Story. Trust me when I say I'm not shitting you; don't ever ever read it. Ever. You will be mentally scarred forever. I don't understand how people can be vegetarian. I suck at Algebra but I'm good at English and History. I love books by Markus Zusak. One of my all-time favorite books is Q&A (Slumdog Millionaire) by Vikas Swarup. So I'm going to shut up now before I reveal too much about myself and I acquire crazy stalkers. Okay, who am I kidding, I love being overly personal! But my fingers hurt from typing. Read my stories ONCE I ACTUALLY PUBLISH THEM BECAUSE FANFICTION HAS A TWO-DAY WAITING PERIOD BEFORE I CAN DO ANYTHING. OMG. Thanks, Loverofnolight (Sometime in early 2012) Dear Non-existent readers, Let's just say that I screwed up big-time. I've been meaning to write, I swear, it's just that I've had a nearly year-long withdrawal period from Avatar and I only recently started recovering. Up until then, I visited Fanfiction mainly to read smut on Amorra, which I ship with all my heart, but I've finally got my shit together this time around. I was also recently introduced to anime and manga, which became my addiction for two months (like, literally, I wouldn't eat or sleep. I would just watch anime all night long. Not fun.) However, after finishing School Rumble, my latest anime obsession, I put my deadbeat career on hiatus and decided to start writing again, something that I really enjoy, and haven't been doing half as much as I want to. I don't know how many fanfics I plan to write, because I don't have a whole lot of time and I'm concerned about plagiarism and all that, but if I actually do acquire followers, I will not disappoint. I'll also use my profile as an update thing for now, 'cause I don't know exactly how this site works. Anyway, my first fanfic is in a bit of an awkward situation, cause the first chapter won't be my own and I can't contact the author, since he hasn't been on in year and all. I'm not plagiarizing of course, but I really want to see the story finished because it's such an interesting topic and it would be a shame to not finish it. So I'll update irregularily, probably, but at first I'll try to add new material often. Thanks! -Loverofnolight (Monday, February 11, 2013) |
