A year after the climactic battle that finally rid the galaxy of the threat of the Reapers, the Civilizations of the galaxy still picking up the pieces, and counting their dead. Commander Jill Shepard, her ship and crew still missing, still hasn't given up hope that they can be found.

The Year is 2382. The Borg are defeated, and the Typhon Pact sits at the Federation's door. Despite this, Starfleet continues is promise of Exploration, sending the USS Endalla and its Intrepid crew into the Gamma Quadrant.

The story follows James Soul, a Starfleet Marine Corps Major, picking up the peices of his life after the end of the Dominion war, where his brother and the women he loved were killed in the clymactic final battle over Cardassia. Story is completed as is.
